Loved it!! - You must buy if you have PS3 and been fan BEFORE tekken 4 came out such as tekken 2, tekken 3, and tekken tag. You'll like it, but if you played tekken 6 and become tekken fan chances that you not gonna like tekken tag HD inside tekken hybrid. It's way different and playing tekken tag 2 demo and watching movie for 39 dollars is not good idea if you only like tekken 6 fighting style. Just wait til tekken tag 2 full version comes out. You must like tekken tag first one, so it feel "I did not waste money". Movie are great and tekken tag 2 is Awesome. It would be more awesome if they put more character to use. they only gave 4 character. they should have at least put Nina, Anna, Lee Chaolan, and Panda that make 9 character. my wish since it's demo. XD Review: Biased review - long time fan - Realized my PS2 TTT went missing, so needed a replacement and got this for the PS3. The graphics are from the PS2 era, so don't expect fancy graphics, although they were really good at the time in 2000 for the PS2. But the gameplay remains unchanged from the PS2 released, which is a good thing. It's a fun tag-team fighter that doesn't take itself seriously. There are bears and kangaroos, that should be enough reason to like this game. Oh, there's also a pretty nice CG movie. I actually enjoyed the movie, and the voice acting wasn't horrible. There's also a demo for TTT2, but TTT2 is out, and it's also a fun game.

Not Bad.
I was a bit skeptical when I bought this but it turned out that my worries were unfounded. Tekken: Blood Vengeance isn't the horrific movie everyone seems to be claiming that it is. Sure, there are a few awkward moments where dialogue seems a bit odd but overall, it was an entertaining movie. One review that I read said that the author of said review had no idea what was going on by the end of the movie. I would suggest that they watch it again and pay attention this time. Tekken Tag Tournament HD is simply fun. Tekken Tag Tournament is my favorite Tekken installment (Closely followed by Tekken 3 and Tekken 6). I used to be able to play my PS2 copy through my old PS3. But when it got the Yellow Light of Death, I had to get a new PS3 that couldn't play PS2 or PS1 games. So this allows me to play my favorite Tekken installment without dragging out the old PS2. It looks great and it holds up even against today's fighting games. Still a hell of a lot of fun to play. Tekken Bowl is an added and enjoyable bonus. Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Prologue is an interesting little teaser. The game play is fun, the graphics are quite pretty, and the addition of trophies is a nifty bonus. I would've liked another character or two to play around with but I also understand that it's a demo. So there aren't any hard feelings there. I think the full version of the game will be one hell of a release. In conclusion the whole package is a nice little stop gap between Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Enjoy!

Change Condition
The product stated it was new (the way the manufacturer created it; untouched) yet it had scratches on the disc, no game Manuel, and the game cover looked used. I have a video showing the difference. (Tekken 6: Used and FF7 Rebirth : New)

Awesome TTT in HD!
Game is awesome. Seller sent one busted up ass case for the game but it came in good condition. Minor scratches on the disc.

Ignore the Complaints Here. Get if You're a Real Tekken Fan.
Not really sure if asking "how much fun this 'game'" is was the appropriate review question to ask, since this is more movie-related than game. To rate the product itself, a 4/5 and I'll explain later why I removed one point. I'll start off by saying anyone who's been keeping up with the info on this product knows that this is mainly about the movie. Don't get this if you're interested in playing a Tekken game unless you're desperate to play the demo for TTT2 and/or playing an un-upgraded TTT1 in HD resolution. Doing so would be akin to getting FF7: Advent Children thinking you'll be able to play a full-fledged RPG. From many, I've heard that the movie was crap. Watched it for myself and was not surprised in the least to know it was pretty much exactly as I expected it to be. Even in the interviews within the disc, the script writer pointed out that movies based on fighting games tend to fail since it's hard to make good storylines out of them, so I'm not sure how good people were expecting the storyline to be here. This also takes place between Tekken 5 and 6...so there's not even a whole lot of room to create very interesting events in said interval. Basically, this movie is meant to excel in visual clarity (CG technology and the 3D option) as well as the action scenes the Tekken series is known for. Who cares, Tekken has been having a cheesy story ever since the first installment. This project is the greatest thing story-wise in the Tekken project but even fans feel the need to b*tch and complain about how it's not as thrilling as your average theatre movie. My only real beef with the movie (that I took a point off for) is that the driving characters were Xiaoyu and Alisa as opposed to Lars and Alisa, and trust me...as a Tekken movie, not only would it have made more sense to replace Xiaoyu with Lars (since T6 Scenario Campaign features Lars and Alisa as the main characters), but it would've made things more interesting. Lars also had character as proven in Scenario Campaign, and he would've made an excellent candidate for being a main character especially considering the timeline of this movie. They could've done that and even still kept Scenario Campaign canon. What's kind of weird is how Alisa seemingly woke up for the first time in Scenario Campaign when it's after Blood Vengeance...guess she just went back to sleep or it's a clone like how there are multiple JACK units, who knows. I will say though that the pro of having Xiaoyu and Alisa as partners is it makes the movie more adorable which I nonetheless enjoyed :). Secondly, I think the whole thing with Shin Kamiya and the M Cell was. plain. unnecessary. There's already enough DNA alteration, research and whatnot going on within the Tekken universe and the last thing we need is a secondary character getting experimented on, having a death wish, and being a plot device just to lure the 3 main Mishimas together. Besides it seemed like almost every part of the movie had to do with Kamiya and I think that eliminated any chance of there being more action in the movie, which I think it needed. I don't hate him. I think he's cool, looks somewhat Mishima/Kazama-like, hanged with Jin in the past, and (for the ladies) pretty much defines "pretty boy" in Tekken. He could also physically buff up beyond the Mishimas and his body patterns ("tattoos") are sick. They also reek of green kryptonite-like stuff which I also think is cool...but other than that, he was unnecessary for the most part. I guess there's still a chance he'll make it into the TTT2 roster. If so then I'll probably use him. To summarize, as per a video game-based movie, it's pretty much on the level of Advent Children Complete when it comes to everything (and Advent Children was arguably the best, if not, one of the best video game-based movies out there), though Blood Vengeance is also viewable in 3D. I just have a "2D" set but I'm satisfied with that. As for the "game" aspect of this product, the TTT2 demo to me was pleasing enough, though I'm not sure why there isn't a separate style for "Devil" Kazuya. They did the same thing with Jin/Devil Jin, so it doesn't make sense that they should make it different with Kazuya. The viewable character models now are more Soul Calibur-like since you can make them pose and say different things. Sadly it's just 4 playable characters. Fortunately, two of them were characters I normally main with in Tekken, Devil Jin and Kazuya specifically. IMO they could've at least included all the characters (even just the ones that fought) from the movie, in the demo as well. That would be about 7 characters, 9 if you consider Jin/Kazuya and their devil forms separate. Including all movie characters would make it 11 if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, this product is worth $40 bucks and if you're a Tekken fan and haven't seen the movie yet and/or want to own this in HD, want to play TTT1 in higher resolution and/or want to get a feel of what TTT2 will be like...you're missing out.

For Hardcore Fans!!!
I'll start saying that I bought this for the movie in the first place and as far as it is concerned, I just loved it!!... Both 2D and 3D presentation of the film!!... I have no words to explain what an incredible experience it is to watch the film!!... Yeah, it doesn't have great plot nor great character development (except maybe for Alysa).. but its action sequences are breath-taking!!... And let's face it, why else would you want to watch a Tekken film?... hehehehe As for the game... I already owned TTT but the HD treatment here makes it look fantastic!!... my brother's having a great time playing it... now, the TTT2-Prologue... well, it really is a prologue or mini-prologue should I say?... I has 4 playable characters: Alysa, Ling Xiaoyu, Kazuya Mishima (demon form) and Devil Jin (complete form)... not too much to have fun with... Cool thing is that you can play the movie using your usual bluray player as well as your PS3 console. All in all, is a good buy in my opinion... but as I said: For Hardcore Fans mostly...

You get a remake of Tekken Tag Tournament, the Tekken movie and a demo of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 starring the two main stars of the Tekken movie and two of the final bad guys of the Tekken movie. It's awesome and a lot of bang of the buck, what more do you need to read? Buy it already. :)
