Audio Technica AT2020 Condenser Studio Microphone Bundle with Pop Filter and XLR Cable

This microphone is very very nice, and very high quality. I bought this microphone to get into podcasting. Coming from someone who has no previous knowledge or background in audio or recording, (I have to say) its a little frustrating at first. But once you learn and read more about how it all is suppose to work together it is very interesting. The microphone and the bundle itself is exceptionally good value. The pop filter is nice and very adjustable. The XLR cable that comes with it is very nice too! For instance I bought another XLR cable on a different order. After comparing the two, the cable that comes with the bundle is far better in terms of quality. The microphone is unbelievably good. No audio noise, very clear, well built. I use the soft cloth that comes with it and place it on top of the microphone to keep dust off of it. I have the microphone going through a Behringer Xenyx302 USB mixer. Again, setting all this up without knowing what you're doing isn't very fun. Thankfully there is alot of information out there that will at least get you started. Trial and error with different setups will always be there however.

The mic itself is great, I can't say anything wrong about it. Beforehand I was gonna buy a gaming headset but I decided to go the better route and buy a good mic and good open back headphones paired with the Scarlett solo 2nd gen and I couldn't be more pleased. If you're in the market for a good mic, don't hesitate. The cable is great, the one I got is some very nice quality and not "cheap" looking. As for the pop filter, I don't use it but I can say it's a good one, judging by what I've seen at local stores. What It all comes down to is, do you want a good mic for recording, gaming, or streaming? If so you'll be more than happy with this bundle.

Awesome mic! Looks and sounds great. I tried rigging it to work with my loop pedal but it seems to make a small ringing sound when connected to that. I will try a different setup and see if that helps. Otherwise this mic when paired with the Scarlett 2i2 is unstoppable. Loved the sound!

This microphone was bought to replace an AT2020 USB mic because of incompatibility with windows 8. Thoughts: The mic is solidly constructed, heavy, you could probably kill someone with it. Sound quality is great. I paired this with a focuserite scarlett 2i2, it sounds clean, crisp and loud. Better than the USB one even when I was using windows 7. The pop filter, is huge and double layered. It does its job so I can't ask for more. The xlr cable is good, but too long for my purposes. All in all a good value.
