I'm delighted with this item! Our Dyson is about 4-5 years old and has had a replacement battery from eBay in that time when it originally started pulsing about 9 months ago. A month ago it started doing the same thing - there wasn't enough suction and it was pulsing again. First just on boost mode, then on the bog standard. I assumed it was a dodgy battery with a short shelf life, so ordered an official Dyson one to try and resolve the issue. When it arrived, it made no difference. I was all set to buy a new vacuum when I did one last Google and discovered the purple back piece could be the issue. Removing it, the suction worked, so I was hopeful when I ordered this part. And it's fixed the problem entirely, for a fraction of the cost of a battery let alone a hoover. Brilliant!

Was a bit dubious about whether this would fit / do the job but as the price was good I gave it a go. Have to say, it arrived promptly even with the problems with Covid currently. I found it to be a similar quality to the dyson original, it was a good fit and suction has been restored. What I can’t comment on is it’s longevity but in fairness if it only lasts half the time of the original it will still be value for money.

I purchase this spare filter as had read that you could ‘break’ your machine if you washed the filter and then put it back in the machine before it was fully dried. So now I can wash the filter and leave it to dry until the next filter wash. If this extends the life of my Expensive cordless stick vacuum then this is a few pounds well spent. Update: my Dyson cordless recently lost suction power so I decided to read the Instruction Manual (well it’s only 3 years old!) and found that I should be washing the filters every month in cold water until clean. So, if you own a Dyson cordless stick machine then I suggest that you start doing this to prolong its life and improve its cleaning efficiency. There are plenty of helpful videos on Youtiube to help you locates these filters. Oh, it did pick up the fluff, etc much better with clean filters,

Inexpensive and appear to be the same quality and fit as the Dyson originals. I was shocked at the extra power that was unlocked by changing the filters on my vacuum. If you haven’t changed yours in a while this is a must!

Fantastic replacement filters fit my Dyson V8 Absolute. For ages I thought the machine itself was on the way out. Very little suction and constantly ‘pulsing’. Took a chance on these after reading these reviews and was a great decision. Machine runs better than ever!!

Functional replacement for Dyson parts at a fraction of the cost

A very nice replacement set that works well and resolved our issue. We initially thought the vacuum has a battery issue as it was stopping and starting every couple seconds but it ended up being the filter and this little set did the trick. Perfect fit and it could not have been easier to replace. We were back up and running in no time!

These parts were approximately a third of the price of Dyson's equivalent and just as good. the service was fantastic as I ordered after 5pm on Thursday and received them by lunchtime on Friday! Brilliant all round service and quality, thank you Amazon!
