LightEase Memory Foam Leg Support and Elevation Pillow w/Dual Handles for Surgery, Injury, or Rest

As a mom of three, breaking my ankle and leg in multiple places right before Thanksgiving was not something I was prepared for. This was actually the very first item I purchased—before I even had surgery—because the ER staff stressed how critical proper elevation would be for recovery. I also remembered my father-in-law’s experience and knew that stacking pillows never really works long term. I’ve now been using this elevation cushion daily for about six weeks, and it has been absolutely essential. The size is excellent and provides proper elevation even when I’m sitting up in bed. The flat surface is longer than my leg, which gives me flexibility. When my heel needs relief, I simply add a small memory foam pillow between my leg and the cushion so my foot can hang off slightly—something that has made a big difference in comfort. The top of the cushion is gently curved, which keeps my leg from sliding off and adds a surprising level of stability. That curve also helps hold any additional pillows in place, almost like a supportive “hug” for your leg. This has been especially nice during the times I’m able to take my boot off. (For anyone unfamiliar, the boot is the support brace given post-surgery; I received mine about two weeks after surgery.) The design details are very well thought out. There are two straps on the angled side closest to you, which make it easy to pull the cushion back toward you or adjust it when sitting up. One side also has a handle, which has been incredibly helpful for moving it around the house. In fact, my youngest son has proudly carried it from the bed to the couch for me—even though it’s nearly as big as he is. Between managing recovery and still being “mom” to three kids, this cushion has been a lifesaver. It’s comfortable, practical, and truly designed for real-life use during a long recovery.

I bought this pillow to help elevate my leg during recovery, and it’s been exactly what I needed—supportive, comfortable, and well-made. But somehow, my cats decided it’s theirs too. One of them discovered it first and started lounging on it like a personal couch. The other quickly followed. Now it’s their go-to spot for deep, full-body relaxation—something I honestly hadn’t seen them do on any other surface. We’re talking stretched out, upside down, completely at peace. Even more interesting, one cat stays and claims it, while the other uses it and then comes to sit with me—so it’s become part of our shared routine. So yes, it’s an excellent product for recovery—but apparently also a premium cat lounge.

*Heads up! It comes rolled up very tightly and takes 24 hours before it becomes full sized.* This is the most life saving product of all time! I absolutely INSIST you buy this if you need to elevate your leg for some reason. I broke my ankle and had to get surgery that same week. I started off using pillows stacked and it put a lot of pressure on painful spots on my ankle after surgery causing extreme pain. It was also hard to support my knee and thigh properly without causing them discomfort. My leg fell off of the pillows as I slept. I needed such a large quantity of pillows to get the right elevation and comfort that I had to use almost all of the pillows in the house. When moving from the bed to a chair I had to try to reconfigure the pillows it was a disaster! I ordered this the day after surgery and it came in one day. I had my boyfriend wait on the steps for this packages as soon as I saw it was ten stops away. (You can use it as it’s growing but is much more comfortable at peak size) I love that it has edges that prevent your foot from falling off. It is the perfect elevation. It has the gradual incline that provides knee and thigh support so you’re not putting pressure on your calf or foot. It is perfectly firm without being uncomfortable. It’s not hard by any means but it keeps your leg in place which is crucial after surgery. I believe this significantly reduced post surgical pain. And makes every day life so much easier and more comfortable. It’s light enough that I can throw it where I’m going instead of trying to carry it on my crutches. It’s easy to hoist up onto the bed or chair by the handle. I’m also in love with the handle facing you so that you can pull it closer. The material is so soft and comfortable. I wish I could give this product 1000 stars. Literally life saving! I used to be very resistant to elevating my leg because it was so uncomfortable. Now it’s more comfortable than having my leg flat. The pictures I included are of me using it on a reclining chair and on my bed. Also the one on my bed is right after opening so it’s not full size yet.

This pillow has been a godsend. I had to have surgery on my leg and ankle and this helped keep it appropriately elevated. It is comfortable, and soft. Also, the handles are appropriate and so helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who has to keep their leg elevated.

I bought this for my 6th knee surgery. It was perfect and comfortable. Only problem I had was it was a little too large for my reclining couch. But I made it work.

Out of all the products I purchased to help in recovery from my broken leg and my dislocated ad fractured ankle, this by far the thing I used the most. I used it to elevate and protect my leg while sitting in a recliner. I also used it when I had to travel to sit across the back seat of the truck for the longer drive. It was also very comfortable to sleep in when I first got home from the hospital after surgery.

I honestly do not know what I would have done without this after my foot surgery! Works so much better than stacking pillows! Very comfortable, even while sleeping!

Exactly what we needed!!! Husband had a completely torn hamstring repair. I wanted something for him to be able to adjust on his own and not have to worry about his leg falling off. It needed to keep pressure off the surgery site-Hamstring This is the perfect angle. Great cushion and support. The handles are a great add-on and makes it easy to Adjust. For size reference-he is 6’2. Not a small guy. We also waited the full 48 hrs for it to inflate before using, even though it looked ready before. Highly recommend!!!

So comfortable and happy to buy it again.

La vdd es que me dio miedo con las reseñas que vi pero al pasar de los días se infló muy bien como en las imágenes que presenta Sin duda me sirvió mucho para mi operación :) Pero no olviden sacarlo 2 días antes o si pueden antes mejor antes de su operación

I absolutely loved this pillow when I broke my ankle last year. Being unable to use my ankle felt awful an having to constantly find pillows to prop it up was hard. Just buy this if you need to prop your leg up for a long amount of time. Its sturdy but also soft to the touch. WIth the carrying handle, I was able to use my knee scooter and bring this pillow with me at the same time! I also fangled my way to use the pillow so that I could sleep on my side without having my leg in any danger (put your good leg either in front of, behind, or underneath the leg pillow to get comfy). I haven't needed the pillow since I healed, but I'm keeping it in case anything happens in the future!
