Bgreen Organic Black Rice, 16 Ounce

The black rice needs more cooking time then most rices. I put it in the rice cooker when my beans are almost done,in the pressure cooker. As a diabetic, it is another healthier choice. It costs more than most rice and it's harder to find in bulk. I like the short grains. It looks like little glossy gems,when cooked with a little olive oil The taste is a little nutty and savory. The flavor is good with a little salt,on its own. However, it pairs well with other grains. I use it with black and red beans,mostly because it adds flavor to the dish.

Everything about this rice is good. Cooking, flavor, texture.

Love using this Rice to make a spray. Great ingredients and quality. Great smell.

This black rice definitely tastes different from white rice. It feels more nutritious. However, you definitely can't beat the taste and feeling of plain white rice. Maybe because I'm just used to it or maybe not.

I had never had black rice before. I ordered it for the health properties. This rice is delicous!!!!! I followed cooking instructions and it was done when directions said it would be. Love it!!

VERY short grain. This is not wild rice. I mistakenly bought this thinking it was wild rice to go with white rice, but it's not. I guess this is good for what it is. It stains everything black when boiled together with white rice. It does at least get soft.

I used this for a rice water rinse for my hair, I heard good things about it, hasn’t been a bad experience yet.
