In-depth and unbiased review
I was just like you, the person who is reading this right now, on the fence and looking for a more guided review, well here's my take on it. Short story, I was looking for some buck converters, something cheap and quick to arrive and works as expected. After testing all five of these today, I can say that this item does all three, but how did I come to that conclusion. Other reviews have mentioned that you'll need to swing the potentiometer a lot, and testing all 5 confirmed this to be accurate, now in my testing, I set up a bench top power supply, set it to 14.4v DC and each one needed on average needed 6.5 turns counter-clockwise to even register a 0.2v decrease, I've shared a full table of how many turns you need to affect a change, for me I want to use these in an automotive case and stepping down to 5v DC, this needed an incredible 11.5 turns counter-clockwise. Ok, so in a 30 minute test, I ran an incandescent car lamp just to see how stable it is and also how much heat it generated; unloaded it was set to 7.5vDC, with the lamp connected the load pulled the 7.5vDC down to 7.42vDC which impressively is only a 1% drop! After 12 minutes the board got upto 41.5°c and I tested it on a very warm day with an ambient temperature of 28.9°c, so an increase of 12.6°c which isn't too shabby either. I could ramble on about the other 4 units, but they all behaved exactly the same! Once you understand their behaviour these are a robust little unit. I've left on on test with 28vDC input and 7vDC output drawing 10w of power and will update in a week's time to see if they will pass an endurance test also. The only very small issue I can see is the output capacitor (220uf 35v VT) could be a little bigger, but I don't mind adding my own 470uf. Overall, I'm more than pleased with this purchase and if the test passes, I'll update this review and order some more

Pretty good overall.
These little gems are brilliant. Granted, there's no way they will power your house, but then, that's not what these are about. When you need to derive a lower voltage power supply from a higher one, these are the puppies to go for. They are adjustable from (In my testing) 1.3V up to around 34-36V DC The instructions suggest making sure the input exceeds the output by a minimum of 1.5V I would further add that if you only want (For example) a 5V output, try to keep the input as close as you can, this minimises the power and so, heat, the unit has to dissipate.

Surprisingly ok
Initially thought these were faulty because the output voltage wasn’t changing with the screw adjustment. Turns out that you have to screw the adjuster in a lot before the voltage starts to drop. Once the voltage starts changing the adjustment is ok.

Adjustment nearly caused me to return these.
I nearly sent these back because the adjustment on the potentiometer needs to be turned about 20 revolutions before having any effect on output voltage. Once I’d figured this out, their perfect.

Yizhet Buck DC to DC High Efficiency Voltage Regulator
For my projects I have often built my own adjustable voltage regulators, usually based on LM317's etc, but this time I bought a 5 pack of these - and they are little beauties! First, remember to wind the pot anti-clockwise at least 6 - 8 full turns to get you into the ballpark. in my case I required 6 volts and probably wound back about 12 - 15 full turns. Now you can fine-tune if you're requiring low voltage. There is a handy blue led to confirm you have supplied voltage at the input. These are high-efficiency so no large heat-sink needed. Highly recommended.

Dont buy
I brought these to reduce 12v to 3 for leds. Despite spending five minutes turning the screw to reduce the output voltage no reduction. The only unit of the consignment that did reduce the voltage did so for about 30 seconds then it went back up to 12volt input voltage. My advice is dont waste your money on these would rate minus stars if allowed

1 DOA so far
I've only tried using two of the converters so far and the first one did not function properly at all, i manged to figure out that the POT resistor was dead, having 0 ohms of resistance across it. The other one worked as expected

Working fine with Pico
I've used one of these to drive a Raspberry Pico and a multicoloured ring to light up a small fountain, connected to a 12v supply. I installed both AC and DC in my garden many years ago - forward thinking :). It's been running my Pico (and LED ring) quite nicely at the correct voltage (and current). Note: To get to the correct voltage, I did initially have to turn the pot quite a few times, it then started to change, and then it was quite sensitive, but all good and very impressed. All housed in a waterproof box.

Good Product
Works good. Good for tinkering, but would appreciate screw terminals instead of having to solder wires to it.

Useful product!
They work fine. Voltage Can be adjusted to a precision of 2 numbers after dot (you just have to be careful). I use mine with a Raspberry Pico 2W powered by a 12V(->5V) power source.
