The light was excellent and so good we took a midnight drive to the local 24hr Wally World to buy another since we are now in hurricane season and power outages are to be planned for as part of a sensible storm plan. Sadly walmart were out of stock of this model only having more expensive and bulky ones. But at least they had their air conditioning on (as well as lights) in the store which we did not of course have ourselves at home. So now I Have just placed an order with Amazon for this two pack of these lanterns. Hopefully if we are well prepared for that bad storm we will never need to use them in anger!! Lamps take two 'D' Cells which are easy to fit into the base of the lamp and as these are standard flashlight batteries they are usually in stock everywhere ### ⭐ Cheap *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2013* Came on time, but the 1 I opened the knob to turn on & off was damanged.
