This was very nice looking but hard to open. Everyone thinks I locked the door on them but it’s actually hard to push to open. So it makes it loosen over time and have to tighten it back up. It was okay for the price

VERY NICE DOOR HARDWARE!!! WE HAVE KWIKSET HALIFAX DOOR HARDWARE THROUGHOUT OUR HOME AND I WANTED THE FRONT DOOR TO LOOK SIMILAR. THIS SET ACCOMPLISHES THAT AND LOOKS GREAT. THE ONLY THING I HAD NOT CONSIDERED WAS THE FACT WE WOULD NEED TO PUT A SMALL HOLE IN OUR DOOR FOR THE BOTTOM OF THE HANDLE. MY HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO INSTALL IT EASILY BUT IF THIS ISN’T SOMETHING YOU FEEL CONFIDENT DOING YOU MIGHT LOOK AT A DIFFERENT STYLE. I WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN! Also it shipped within a week. Probably closers to 3-4 days.

Beautifully engineered, hard to figure out especially for those easily frustrated. Worst screws ever provided, pure garbage that promptly stripped out.

I originally purchased this front door latch and deadbolt on August 9, 2019. It's a beautiful piece of equipment. It has a "lifetime warranty ". You will probably need this warranty during your ownership of this product. So far my deadbolt had to be replaced, and the thumb latch also broke and required replacement. The good news is that in both cases the company promptly answered my inquiries and provided replacement parts. Of course I had to figure out how to put them on but I'm a pretty handy guy. Recently the knob assembly on the inside broke. The part that broke was a piece of pot metal that could only be provided by Berlin Modisch. However after sending three emails to the company and having received no response or replacement parts, I finally resorted to just buying another one of these to use for replacement parts in the future. In my world that does not constitute a lifetime warranty for their product. Because the product is more than 2 years old now, Amazon would not address this question for me, which left me know alternative but to buy the new one or buy a different brand. The problem with a different brand is they have a different footprint requiring new holes to be drilled in otherwise brand new door and repairing the door so that the old footprint didn't show through. It was simply easier to buy a new unit and count on using the rest of the parts sometime in the future. My last word, don't believe the lifetime warranty and I wouldn't bet my money on this company either. By the way I've never written a review like this and I'm sad that I had to do it this time.

This set was easy to install (in a pre hung door with already prepared mounting holes). It is very attractive and sturdily built. It operates smoothly. I expect it last a long time. Real good value. Highly recommend.

I had a new door installed and bought this lock set to go with it. I can't speak to the ease of installation - but so far, the lock is great! Easy to use and looks beautiful on my new door.

Easy quick install. It looks really classy and modern. We put it on a shop door outside. The handle button works smoothly. The lock on the inside locks smoothly, but does feel a bit "cheaper" since it does have a little more wiggle when its turned. The handle on the inside of the door looks sleek and is comfortable to pull down. Would definitely buy again.
