Great replacement blades
Not cheap but the quality is excellent. These cut threads brilliantly but when I caught my finger by accident, to my surprise, it didn’t cut me (I know that’s what supposed to happen). Although the longer blade is intended for cutting overlocking, it is also easy to use on any stitching because of the quite fine point. I have been taking apart some old items of clothing to make patterns from and the original blade is still perfectly good after several hours use so I have no reason to doubt their claim about longevity. The long handle makes it easy to hold, especially it you have big hands, I find the standard thread cutters to small and fiddly. The blades are quite expensive but if they last as long as claimed, they will work out fairly reasonable value for money. Their safety makes them very good value.

I'm tired of buying cheap seam rippers. It suddenly become dull when i need it the most. These blades cost about half of one cheap seam ripper, which gives you 4 blades for the price of two cheap rippers. I used one on a silk pillowcase and it worked. The tip didn't pierce the fabric and was very sturdy in the holder. It will take a little practice using it with the holder i have and may need to order a different style. I recommend the entire line of handles and blades.

I bought the knife with the round-pointed one. They are OK, but don't under small stitches. This replacement with the sharp-point is really SHARP. it goes under the very small stitches and cut it with ease. It is made of ceramic and will not rust. This is my very handy tool now. The price is high, but may last for long time. The replacement blade doesn't come with instruction. You have to visit their site.

I really like these blades. They work well but the tips are very delicate and can break off, making it harder to cut threads cleanly.

Perfect for tight seams. Nice and sharp. Easy to use! I’ll never use the old standard seam ripper again.

Unfortunately, steel blades are definitely sharper and thinner, easier to slide under stitches and use as seam rippers, than these ceramic ones,
