Great quality! Works well to clean pool!

I purchased an 18 x 48 summer waves Elite metal frame pool and this adapter fits perfectly in the skimmer. It's so easy to set up for vacuuming the pool. Just take to top cover off your skimmer, place the adapter on top the pump suctions and holds the adapter in place. Then prime your hose, connect your hose to the adapter and away we go. Plenty of suction power and I haven't had any issues with the hose or adapter getting cattywampused and sucking in air just by moving about or knocking into it, or pulling it to tight. It stays in place. My first pool was an Intex and it seemed I was always having to tighten and readjust the connections to maintain suction power, so the task of vacuuming the pool took forever and frustrating.

I’ll agree, it is expensive for what it is. Should really only cost $15. However, with the pandemic they know what they are doing. I have a 14’ round summer waves pool and this did work perfectly. I bought this with the half moon crest vacuum head. It does hold suction very well. I had a problem with small debris getting through my filter and being pushed back in the pool, so I had to use a hack, and I recommend the same for everyone having the same problem. Put a pantyhose and a rubber band/ scrunchie over the outlet for the pump that leads in the pool, and all the debris that would be put back in your pool goes in the pantyhose. SIMPLE hack. I recommend the product, just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Exactly what I wanted to be able to attach the pool vaccum to the filter system. Excellent quality for your money, light weight, made of durable quality material, simple to attach into your pump, suction makes cleaning your pool so easy. Overall durability and functionality is amazing!

Best solution so far for vacuuming above ground pools with self contained skimmer/filter/pump units. Works well with a fresh filter to remove most bottom algae residue after shocking the pool. Unfortunately, the pool pumps are not strong enough to pick up the larger grains of sand.
