Cable Matters offers so many great cables at prices that seem to indicate they'd be poor performers. Long gone are the days where expensive cables and dongles were required to have satisfactory performance. I've found this brand to have equal or better performance than other options and it's not as disappointing to me when I lose or forget one. Perfect HDMI connection made through this Mini DisplayPort adapter. Great size and quality.

We use these with mac mini's to drive an extra ultra wide screen monitor. Since Mac mini's only have one mini display/ thunderbolt port and one hdmi output, we bought monitors with hdmi inputs. I bought this cable adapter so I can connect my Surface Pro 3 tablet to HDMI monitors while I'm on the go. So far, no problems. After plugging the adapter into the Mini DisplayPort and hooking up the HDMI, it takes less than a couple of seconds for the tablet display to mirror on the monitor. I've tried it with a 1080p monitor but haven't yet had access to a 4K monitor, so I can't vouch for the 4K support.

This is a very well made and performing adapter. I was having issues, losing my display on my Mac Mini for hours at a time over the course of about a year. I did some research and found that an OS upgrade and using HDMI connection was probably the cause of my issue. I received this adapter during a display blackout. Without turning off the Mac Mini i installed the adapter and was happy to see it resoled my problem! Beyond that I noticed a sharer and clearer monitor display. Awesome adapter highly recommended if you are attaching a non-Apple monitor to your Apple!

We have a laptop that's supposed to be VR capable, complete with an HDMI port that supports v1.4. But when we got the HP Windows Mixed Reality headset, we got an error message about the video port not working. Crossing my fingers, I ordered this device in hopes that was really the problem. I have a laptop with an HDMI port and a MiniDisplay port. I needed a way to hook up both my monitor and a 720p HD TV at the same time, and this was the perfect solution. The quality from Cable Matters is as good as I could expect from any more expensive product. The design is a glossy black finish, which I think think looks good with most electronics. The connector is flexible so I can position the adapter as needed. Another reason for purchasing is that I had an audio issue with my HDMI port on my laptop; with this adapter, I had no problems with audio when streaming movies and music! I misplaced a similar adapter and thought I had lost it. I bought this one as a replacement and then found my original adapter from Amazon Basics. Both of them work fine but I like this newer one because it is smaller and the black cable doesn't stand out as much as a white one. The price was very reasonable. I use it to connect a Surface Pro 3 to an HDMI cable to an HDMI in display in order to show a PowerPoint presentation on a larger screen. I would buy from this manufacturer again.

Perfetto, sembra robusto e non dà l'idea che si possa rompere da un momento all'altro, ovviamente usandolo con cura, come ogni cosa. L'ho comprato per il mio Omen della HP per collegarci un terzo schermo per lavorarci, funziona perfettamente senza problemi di sorta

Ich hab mir den Cable Matters Mini Displayport auf HDMI Adapter besorgt, da ich ein Laptop mit Nvidia Optimus besitze und der HDMI-Port des Geräts nicht mit der starken dedizierten Grafikkarte verbunden ist, sondern lediglich mit der integrierten Intel Grafikkarte. Mit diesem Adapter ist es mir aber möglich, die Rift direkt an die Grafikkarte anzuschließen, da Displayport (im Gegensatz zu HDMI) so gut wie immer mit der dedizierten, anstatt der integrierten Grafikkarte verbunden ist. Einen anderen Mini Displayport Adapter hatte ich ebenfalls probiert: Die Rift wurde erkannt, jedoch ohne Bild output. Mit diesem Adapter wird ebenfalls alles problemlos erkannt und das Bild funktioniert ebenfalls einwandfrei in voller 2160x1200 Auflösung und 90Hz!

This works for the Oculus Rift to plug it into my laptop's graphics card when it would not work with just that HDMI port. I tried another one before this, but that didn't work. This works perfectly. Worth the price and delivery was next working day.

MacBook Air Mid 2013で2560×1440 60Hzで問題なく使えています。 ケーブルは若干細めで径5mm位、長さは両コネクタに端から端までで220mm位です。 ケーブルの硬さはやはりそれなりにあります、少し細いの若干ましかな、という程度です。 Mini DisplayPortコネクタのモールドがスッキリしたデザインで PCに接続した時に威圧感が無くスマートに見えます。 デザインも性能等も良く、私の中ではCable Matters社のケーブルがデファクトスタンダードになりつつあります。
