It deals with Nightmare Moon, but not in the traditional way that one would assume.The artwork is fantastic, the story line is interesting and the print work and assembly is top notch. If you or your kids enjoy My Little Pony, pick it up. It's worth a read. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Little Review *by E***E on October 5, 2013* This makes for an excellent gift for any fan of MLP:FiM. There are 5 areas that I really looked at to give it this rating: Character accuracy, story, art, enjoyment, and continuity.Character accuracy - I found the story to be very accurate towards the individual characters and their personalities, while still adding in more depth to each of them (especially Rarity and Princess Luna). I never found myself thinking that an individual was falling out of character. For this I gave it a star.Story - For the most part this story held together well. There may have been a point or two where I was skeptical about intentions or methods, but they made it work very well. I never found that there were major plot holes with it. So yay plus 1 star!Art - Like the other comics, the art style is rather different from the show's animation. While it is different it's easy to get used to and makes it easier to get across the range of emotions that the characters are going through during the story. Not only that but there is far more happening in the background where they added in a few nods to past events or specific fan favorite characters (At one point there were 3 incarnations of Dr. Whooves and as a Dr. Who fan I was very pleased). For this I give it another star.Enjoyment - The story was rather engaging and had a nice conclusion that was full of emotion. Seeing a few of the characters battling with their inner demons further added to the conflict of the story and made me get more engaged in the what was happening. Also if you are looking for comedy Pinkie Pie does not disappoint. Overall yes this was very enjoyable. +1 Star!Continuity - This was the only point where I was a bit unsure. They did a good job at adding in ties to the original show with references and return gags, but I couldn't tell when exactly this was supposed to take place in the overall canon. It would seem to take place between seasons 1 and 2, but there are some points that would indicate sometime during season 2. That's all I can say without giving away spoilers. For this I would give it half a star, but being that I can't give half a star on Amazon I will just give it a full star.Overall I would say 4.5 stars in total.Also...
