Feeding takes practice. Start with a straight, freshly trimmed edge, pre-twist the first inch by hand, and sew slowly at first. Once the hem rolls cleanly, you can speed up. After a few practice pieces, it gets much easier.

Will this work on stretchy or knit fabric?

Designed for woven fabrics like cotton, linen, quilting cotton, and lightweight upholstery. Knits and stretch fabrics need different tools and stitches. If you’re sewing knits, reach out to us and we’ll help you choose the right setup.

Do you make narrower sizes (1/8" or 1/4")?
