The ezShot Gun - I Regret This Purchase
Getting to the point quickly, the Wii ezShot Gun is a waste. Right out of the box, I noticed it was cheap trash. It is flimsy plastic with jagged edges and a poor design. You cannot comfortably hold this gun, the Nunchuk trigger is too high and the gun enclosure is not very form fitting. Also, I mainly bought this for Sega's House of the Dead 2+3 games and they do not let you set the Z button on the Nunchuck as the fire button; they will only let you use the B button on the Wii-mote. Which renders the ezShot Gun useless. Let's also forget that the Wii-mote is not a true light gun and it relies on the sensor bar to function, which leaves a bit of lag and innacuracy. Plus, I never actually found a place for the Nunchuck cable that connects to the Wii-mote; it just hangs to the side, which is stupid. Same thing with the Wii-mote wrist strap. Also, once you connect the Nunchuck connector to the bottom of the Wii-mote, good luck removing it later to take the gun apart without spending 20 minutes and dying a little inside. I paid around $27 for the ezShot and now it's going for around $47. After testing this thing, I would not pay $27 for it, let alone $47. Maybe going for the official Nintendo Zapper is the best choice. However, the Wii is not exactly a console that wants to encourage violence, so I guess good gun attachments are not very popular.
