Exceptional thus far, truly silent and easy to install
2025 update, 4 years old it's perfect. I'd trust this thing with my life lol Review Update - it’s now been almost 2 years and this guy is still silent and still working perfectly. A true 5 stars. Original Review: I've previously had condensate pumps from Little Giant, the de facto option at most big box home improvement retailers and the choice of many HVAC pros. The units are reliable, but they're also objectively ugly and can be heard clearly when pumping. When we decided to place a continuous service dehumidifier in our master bath (NYC apartment without vent fan means during humid summers, tons of bathroom mold growth and general nastiness unless you do something about the moisture) I wanted something that wouldn't look so industrial - the Little Giant units were fine in a basement or crawlspace, but this was going to be visible every time we use our bathroom and my wife was not on board. Enter the Fujiwara unit - I'll admit I bought mostly on aesthetics, but what has really impressed me is that these units are truly silent. Not "hard to hear" or "silent from a distance", I mean literally silent - I used clear tubing and still had to hold a flashlight to the line to confirm it was actually pumping when I did a test run and poured water from a bottle into the unit before connecting to the dehumidifier. It's now been about 3 months and the unit hasn't missed a beat - it is still silent, still incredibly effective and showing no signs of slowing down. It's small enough that I was able to attach it to the dehumidifier itself with adhesive velcro pads and tuck out of sight. I will update if there are any reliability issues down the line, but so far this is the best condensate pump option on the market by a long shot!

Works well and looks good.
Quiet and efficient! Much more attractive than those others that I see around. I like that it works on any power source that the mini-split operates on

Stopped working after a month
It was a nice idea - small, quiet, etc. It worked for two weeks, then failed. I emptied it, reset it, started working again. Two weeks later, it was dead and water was everywhere. It was supposed to overflow out the bottom somehow, but when it stopped working, the water pooled out the top and flooded the electrical connection which is there (dumb). I replaced it with a diversitech pump which has a larger storage basin, larger diameter tubing for waste water, and overall seems like a better unit - I've used their pumps in other houses I've owned. The one I got was only $10 or so more, but works so much better!

Good pump for the money
This pump is easy to install and does it’s job. One problem I see is that the power cord is removable and just plugs into the pump. But it plugs in at the top of the unit right next to the water inlet. When I tested the pump after installing it, it dripped some water on the cord, which promptly seeped into the connector and I got a mild shock. If you are mounting it, maybe plug the cord in before mounting to the wall and seal the space around the cord and the housing with some silicone to make sure no water enters the connections. Having said that, it would probably also good to plug it into a GFCI.

Good value
I started purchasing these after a smaller internal pump went out on one of my mini-splits. That pump was going to cost $300 to replace so I started looking for alternatives. Since then I have purchased five of these and so far I am pleased with them and they appear to work well. The attached picture is not a great picture but shows how I have mounted them. The drain tubbing goes through the wall, where I connected it to a PVC pipe with a slight downward angle as it runs to the outside of the building.

No more janky buckets to empty! So glad I took a chance on this unit!
We live in Arizona, and I'm prepping my Mom's casita for the hot summer. The previous owner installed two mini-split units in her place- I believe they are a knock-off of Mr. Cool. They worked great for awhile, but both of the (sauermann) condensate pumps in them failed- one unit shut down completely, and one just dripped down into the drywall (yikes). So, as a temporary solution- I was running the condensation lines out of the units via pex into a couple of buckets on the floor (super classy, I know!). When I saw these- they were exactly what I needed- I opted for the 40L so that the pump wouldn't have to work so hard. They both came with power chords that had plugs (unlike some of the reviews say, mine came with plugs, as of May 2020), and a good amount of the hose that you need. They went up without a hitch, and are doing exactly what they say they will do. I installed them about 6 inches lower than the mini-split units, and used a combination of PEX, a brass elbow from Home Depot, the supplied tubing, and some nylon tape to run the condensate line into the units- the inlet well is deep enough to ensure that the line isn't going anywhere- which is good design. These pumps are a life-saver for me, and I now have piece of mind that everything will be OK at my Mom's place. (My Mom recently came down with pneumonia and back pain, she was taken to the ER, when I came back to her place she had forgotten to dump the water out of the bucket- so it was coming out of the other side of the unit, onto a surge protector on the floor- it really freaked me out- but thankfully, nothing was ruined). My wife says that the install looks very professional/clean- which makes me happy- opposite of the janky bucket. Thank you FUJIWARA.
