Simple rundown: Great product, definitely recommended for anyone who shoots handguns regularly. Pros: - removable handgun sleeves allow for easy transition from bag to shooting bench - lightweight but hardy - roller wheels with drag handle, backpack straps, carry handle, and shoulder strap allow multiple carry options - waterproof poncho included - little wasted space Cons: - small wheels struggle in gravel and rough terrain - zippers are not water resistant, so extended exposure to weather requires use of included poncho - backpack straps are a little wide at the base which may result in straps slipping off the shoulders of small-framed people Review: I've been shooting for a long time now and I've accumulated, well, more than one pistol across the years and I love shooting them all. Of course that wasn't a big issue when I lived in wide, open places where I could walk out my back door, set up a few targets, and shoot into the hillside. Now that I'm living in a more populated area, that's not the most legal of options. Now I'm forced to pick some favorites, pack them up, and go to my local shooting range. In the past, my experiences at shooting ranges have almost been more inconvenient than it's worth, putting one or two pistols into locking hard cases and cramming several of those into backpacks, I ended up dragging around two or three large bags looking like a teenage girl on a weekend trip. Now that I have this Calissa packpack, my experiences are drastically different. I can safely pack five full-sized handguns in the storage compartment along with around 12 boxes (more or fewer depending on caliber) in the various storage compartments. If you choose not to cram that much ammunition in your bag or your range doesn't allow you to bring your own cartridges, that space easily holds tools, oil, optics, or most anything you could wish to put on a handgun. Inside the top zippered compartment is a waterproof poncho for the bag to protect it if it's raining or the range is muddy (outdoor ranges). While most of the pack's material is at least water resistant (I thoroughly doused mine in my kitchen sink to test), the zippers are, unfortunately, not so much, so the poncho comes in handy if you're shooting in weather. While I haven't torture tested the fabric all too much, it's easily withstood all the abuse I've given it so far. Overall, I think this is a fantastic product, especially considering it's an emerging brand, and it will be a range staple for me for years to come. Happy hunting. Edit from 6 years later. I still love it, I still use it, it’s still with me at every range visit. Since then, I've found that the side pocket fits my earmuffs perfectly and I love to use the removable pistol bags frequently, even separate from the bag. Only complaint is the size of the wheels. I wish they were a little bigger and maybe rubber instead of plastic. Still a fantastic product and still glad I have it!

I'm really happy with this bag and highly recommend it. It has high quality zippers and lots of space for everything I want to take. The wheels are fantastic and has made getting to the range way easier.

This is a very nice bag, it's better than anything else I've found. It has room and individual storage bags to hold 5 handguns. I have full-size guns with optics and lights on each and they fit fine. I've read reviews that it won't hold full-size weapons, it's not a problem for me. Very nice bag that could be great with a few modifications. The modifications that would make it great are: 1: the wheels could be larger 2: all the pockets should be larger, they're extremely tight 3: the zippers should have holes to allow locks be installed

This bag is perfect for taking up to 6 pistols and their magazines to the gun range. Plenty of storage and easy to pack and unpack. Love the fact that it rolls so easily even when fully loaded. It is a great bag!

Love how this has so many different places for everything I need whenever I hit the shooting range. I can bring all my handguns and easily fit all the ammo for them too. With all that in there the bag is quite heavy so the fact that the bag rolls is a game changer!

I originally purchased this to carry guns to go shooting in some open-fire zones. I can confirm that this bag is EXTREMELY tough and resistant to almost anything. The pockets it comes with holds handguns pretty nicely and this would be a must-buy for anyone who regularly shoots handguns. The wheels and shoulder straps allows for easy/a variety of transport and it's relatively light, making moving it not hard at all. As a plus, they also provide a waterproof poncho! Pros: - lightweight and efficient - waterproof poncho included - high build quality - easy to use, perfect for holding handguns - variety of ways to transport it Again, definitely recommend this!

After two months of putting this bag through its paces (twice a week shooting at an indoor range and once a week shooting at an outdoor range), this Calissa Offshore Tackle Backpack - "Apollo 2" Tactical Rolling Pistol Case has disappointed me entirely. Getting on in years, a rolling gun bag seemed to me to be exactly what I needed. While this bag held most of what I take to the range, three weeks after I purchased it, one of the "feet" on the bottom broke off. I tried several methods to fix it but no joy. Now the bag is not able to stand upright by itself ... very annoying! Additionally, as I was preparing to leave the range this morning, I was unable to extend the pull handle. After playing with it for ten minutes and getting help from two of my shooting buds, we noticed that the two screws in the handle have partially popped out. Pushing them back in, I was finally able to extend the handle. However now I can't retract it. Note that while I USE my gear, I don't abuse any of it. As far I'm concerned, this bag is now useless to me - $150. down the drain !!! Maybe I got a lemon, a one time bag with issues. Whatever . . . AUGUST 29TH UPDATE: RECEIVED EMAIL FROM DAVE OF CALISSA. SHORTLY AFTER I LEFY MY INITIAL CRITQUE OF THE BACKPACK. WITH NO HASSEL, HE REQUESTER MY ADDRESS IN ORDER TO SEND ME ANOTHER UNIT TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE ONE. SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! DEFINITELY FIVE STARS WITH MORE IF POSSIBLE!

This item is nice but unfortunately way too small. It cannot accommodate full size handguns, particularly those with red dot sights. Nor is there enough room for range accessories such as hearing and eye protection, staple gun for targets, ammunition and cleaning supplies . PLEASE, go back to drawing board and make a larger one with more and bigger pockets !! You will see your sales skyrocket!! Also, include a pocket or loop to carry rolled targets
