My family and I really enjoy this tea. It has a very light pleasant scent. Nothing too strong. And the texture, though not the standard tea leaves (due to it being a root), brews really nicely. When prepared for tea we sweeten it with honey and make ice tea with it, and the flavor is delicious. We also drink it hot but definitely prefer it as an iced tea during summer. We have been drinking this for a few months now and have definitely noticed its benefits such as decreased stress. It lessens the hormone DHT that promotes more stress. There are many other benefits stinging nettle has including promotion of hair growth, reducing inflammation, and many other healing benefits. The quantity isn't too bad, though for the price I wish there was a bit more, but we tend to stretch it out with combing it with another nettle tea. When combined with the U.S Wellness Naturals Nettles Tea, the taste is enhanced and has an amazing flavor!

Such an amazing herb and I order directly through this company a lot. They are a reputable company for organic dry herbs. I highly recommend.

This stuff definitely works for me. I drink a cup of tea in the morning and find it easier to urinate throughout the day. It does seem to have a diuretic effect, so the first couple of hours after that cuppa, I'm heading to the bathroom a couple of times an hour. Then things settle down to normal. The taste is very mild, almost non-existant. So, I couple it with anything kind of tea just for flavor.

Like most people my age, I suffer from BPH, which means frequent nocturnal urination. I had been taking saw-palmetto for several months but had seen fair results. Within a week of drinking a daily Nettle Root infusion [while continuing saw-palmetto capsules], my nocturnal urination frequency went from 3-5 to 1-2! I would like to stress that natural remedies like this affect people to varying degrees and times for effectiveness to kick in. As far as the taste, well I add some Stevia and lemon juice to the infusion, and down the hatch!
