Why won't my motor spin above 10Hz or so. It whines like it is speeding up with the increase in Hz, but actually stops.

Hi, anyone can help explain how to connect vfd to breakout board

Not sure what you're trying to achieve. I've used the keyboard at a remote location, by just connecting it with an extender cable. Other internal connections are available for other inputs. Time delay relay after initial power on, then apply a reset, or run pulse...etc.

I have a 3 hp 12 amp 1825 rpm 3 phase motor. Will this vfd unit run it?

Yes it well. That is the same size motor that I have. One thing of note, I cannot figure out how to set the controller for 60 cycles. It only seems to run at 50 cycles which means your motor runs slower. I am running single phase so don’t know about the 3 phase application.
