Samsonite Fiero Hs Spinner 28, Teal

This is just a simple, large, wheeled, zippered, very light, flexible, sturdy, clam shell of a case. One half is bigger. The bag expands with a second zipper. My old bag was great, but it weighed 20lbs+ empty because of all of the pockets, accessories, etc. With a 50lb limit nowadays, I had to upgrade to something as light as possible but could still take brutal abuse. The bag is as big as you can fly with and still handles easily...two finger wheeling. The zipper lock system is nice too. After several flights...nothin'. Samsonite is still putting it out there. Good for them. There is one thing: the two halves do not lock together. Only the zipper holds this bag together and the halves can overlap when crushed...but the zipper does not give. I wrote the word zipper 6 times in this review, but that is the reality of this bag, folks. Happy travels!

This is a beautiful suitcase (I bought the blue one) and it has functioned perfectly so far. Inside it is essentially a big open space, but that's what I expected and wanted. Re changing the code, if you follow the Samsonite directions that you can find online, amend them to include pushing the little recessed button in and keeping it pushed in while you're changing the combination from 000 to your chosen number. This worked for me! Follow up after trip: The bag performed wonderfully during my international trip, with a flights and a few legs of train travel thrown in. I can see why some people wonder at how durable the bag will be given that the zipper does indeed be the primary force holding the 2 halves together, which becomes apparent only when you pick the bag up by the side handle. That being said, the zippers are pretty rugged looking, and I feel pretty confident that the bag will hold up over time.

I have owned this spinner for almost two years now and traveled with it roughly 8 times. While it was a great bag to begin with, it turned into a disappointment within 8 months (3 trips later), the wheels do not roll and I have to literally drag this bad around. It does have a great color, but I would not recommend this to anyone who flies around the globe frequently. certainly not what Samsonite stands for. I have owned plenty of luggage bags but none have been so short-lived.

Here in Korea. I'm traveling to Thailand in April baby was going to buy this bag. Bought from Amazon in early March, a U.S. Post Office Box 10 days it took to get to the box. Delivery was a little slow to worry about. Safely arrived in my post box, it takes about 15 days after ordering from Amazon . As with other reviews the color of the bag and a lot of different photo . Seems to look different depending on the direction of light. Durable, lightweight wheels are rolling well give this trip, to entertain. A satisfactory product at a good price and very happy with purchase. Recommended to be around.

I purchased two of these Samsonite 28" Fiero suitcases for my teens. They haven't been used yet but I bought based on other stellar reviews. One is going to Germany in April, the other a semester abroad-I still need to buy the carry ons and perhaps another large. Personally, I'm not a fan of how the polycarbonate looks/feels, but, it's lightweight and resilient-it's easy to press the material in and it pops right back out-it seems this case will survive airline handling. Easy to maneuver, the wheels glide smoothly, and it really does "spin". Handle pops up in a flash, roomy interior, and I like the expandable feature. Another nice thing, although I purchased charcoal gray, they're available in a myriad of fashion colors. And, the price on Amazon is by far the best I found. I almost purchased these at a retailer for $18. The first I bought from Ebay and that cheeky seller had it drop shipped from Amazon. Lessoned learned. I bought the second one here.

Perfect, so light!

Really awesome for travelling! The blue colour could be a bit more vibrant but that's just me whining. Overall, the luggage was hard and sturdy but not brittle. The wheels were well built and ran smoothly, which meant the luggage was easy to push/pull even if it got heavy. The inside of the bag is spacious, but it has this net divider which meant that if you only fill up one side, your stuff will not easily topple over into the empty side. This is well worth the money I spent on it.

Very good quality. Took this to Italy for a month. it is a bit big. I recommend same product but one size smaller.

The lock on my luggage does not reset so I can't change the preset combination. The hard shell feels flimsy and may not survive airline luggage handling. Definitely not worth the price. I would return it if I could. Next time I pay more and purchase my luggage locally..

Product seems be be made with good products. Size given is excluding wheels which are taken into account by ALL airlines. We bought 2 of them and found out they were considered oversized by most airlines (63.5 linear inches when the limit is 62). Best case you may not get caught or can pay an extra for oversized luggage. In our case the company didn't accepted it even if we were flying in business.. we have been asked to get new luggages or send it by other meaning so imagine the panic before the flight! I wished I could have returned them!
