Because they are soft silicone, they don't apply that expanding pressure inside your ear canal. I can wear them for hours without any fatigue. Size & Weight: The pack comes with 14 individual tips across 4 different sizes (XS, S, M, L). This is fantastic because it guarantees you will find a size that perfectly matches your ear shape. They are also incredibly lightweight (the entire pack is only about 6 grams), meaning they add absolutely no noticeable weight or bulk to your earbuds. Colour & Ease of Use: I picked up the dark blue/transparent ones, and they look great—they complement the aesthetic of the Sony earbuds perfectly without looking like cheap knock-offs. Ease of use is a 10/10. Swapping them out takes seconds: just pop off the old foam tips, push these onto the nozzle until they click, and you're ready to listen. Value: Echoing what I’ve seen in previous helpful reviews, the value for money here is outstanding. For a very reasonable price, you are getting 7 pairs of replacement tips. Compared to buying official replacements, this is a steal. Cons to consider: Passive Noise Isolation: Because they are silicone rather than dense memory foam, you might lose a tiny fraction of the passive noise isolation. However, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on the Sony buds is so good that I barely noticed a difference in daily use. Finding your size: You do have to spend a few minutes doing some trial and error with the 4 sizes to find your perfect seal, but once you do, they stay put. Common Buyer Questions Answered: Will they fit in the original charging case? Yes, they fit into the Sony charging case perfectly without preventing the lid from closing or the earbuds from charging. Are they easier to clean than the originals? Absolutely. Foam tips absorb wax and sweat, making them hard to clean. These silicone tips can just be wiped down with a damp cloth or alcohol wipe. Verdict: If you find the default Sony foam tips uncomfortable, prone to falling out, or if they have simply worn away, do not hesitate to grab these. Really good, very satisfied.

I didn't like the memory foam tips that came with my Sony earphones, they are really porous, so like a sponge they will absorb earwax even if you have very clean ears over time and start to disintegrate, they get a good fit to begin with but will pop out randomly and the seal does not make the most of the noise cancelling feature. These eartips on the other hand provide a great seal and elevate your listening experience, the transparent tips are or the highest quality, great seal and easy to clean if needed. They are a must and far superior to the stock memory foam, they make your Sony headphones go from good to absolutely great, in terms of listing experience and are really hard to fall out randomly, so comfortable too that you'd nearly forget you have the earphone in they're so secure.

It fits and usable but doesn't give you the feeling of quality

These fit fine and I can't hear any difference between these and the stock tips. I just found them a little hard to push on the my buds, but once they are on, they are on to stay.

The plastic ear tips are particularly good, both for sound proofing and fit

Finally I’ve gotten my secure fit and bass back on my Sony XM5s. I’m really not a fan of the stock foam tips which you really have to force in your ear. Even when secure I’ve always been lacking the bass to go with the incredible sound stage of the Sonys. With the black silicon tips I’ve got a secure fit which is much easier on the ear canal and my bass has come back. 100% recommended for anyone who isn’t a massive fan of the polyurethane stock tips.

Didn’t work for me Earbuds keep slipping off Worst than original

Ottimi auricolari,duratura 5 ore è davvero soddisfatta, uso anche durante la corsa ,sono comodi.La scatola ha duratura per due ricariche. Mi hanno caduto pure scatola con auricolari,non successo nulla funziona bene. Consiglio.

Not a replacement for the original Sony buds.

Ich wolle schon die Sony Ohrhörer WF-1000 XM4 zurückschicken da der Klang nur mittelmäßig und die Geräuschunterdrückung total schlecht waren. Ich konnte mir das, nach den guten Beurteilungen der Ohrhörer, gar nicht erklären. Die Sony-App sagte aber auch, dass die Ohrstöpsel bei mir nicht richtig passen. Stundenlanges probieren half nichts. Jetzt, die neuen dicken Aufsätze draufgemacht und - wow! Welch ein Klang, kein Geräusch mehr von außen, gigantisch. Jetzt verstehe ich die guten Bewertungen des Sony WF-1000 XM4. Dank dieser Ersatzstöpsel. Wem die originalen nicht passen, kauft diese! Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.

Nothing like the original sony. Noice cancellstion dose not work. Would not recommend at all.

They fit and they work but are inferior to the Sony foam tips in most ways. These silicon tips seem to bleed more noise while not fitting as well. In comparison to other silicon tips the quality is fine but nothing impressive.
