I bought this while I waited 2.5 months for double hernia surgery. I wore them exactly as pictured . After a couple of days, I figured out how to "unhook" one strap so I could stand up while peeing. It was awkward at first but got used to it. Just don't wait until you absolutely have to go so you are not fumbling around with the straps, etc. I was able to work all day and walk the dog for almost an hour after getting home wearing this. Now I've had my surgery so I should have no further need but definitely recommend as velcro is still holding up. A reasonable temporary solution at a reasonable price to get you through.

I ordered this belt because it was half the price of some of the others. Before I got this belt, I was miserable. I have an internal inguinal hernia. I have no bulge noticeable on my lower ab or groin. I couldnt walk 100 yards without stopping and getting nauseous and almost vomiting. The only relief icould get from the pain was lying flat on my back. Anytime I would stand or walk, I was in incredible pain. I started wearing this belt and almost immediately started to feel better and was able to get back to work and even take my dog for walks again. Im not able to have surgery for 3 weeks, but with this belt, I am confident that I will be able to make it that long. Best $15 I have ever spent!

When I ordered my first truss, I requested a large on my hip size. I was right at the limit but thought it would work. When the device arrived it was a bit uncomfortable with both pads in place, so I started wearing it with single pad on the side where I needed it most.Since the prices were reasonable I ordered another, this time an Extra Large. When it arrived I found the waist fit to be more comfortable, BUT (AND THIS WAS AN IMPORTANT ONE) the space between the pads had not changed and there was little support over the hernias when wearing two pads.If all you need is support on one side, this device is a good value for money, but if you need bilateral support, sizing my prove challenging.

The belt is great. My only complaint is that the velcro that attaches on the side or back needs to be about an inch shorter and the strap that goes around the waist needs to be an inch wider. What happens is the velcro will rub on your skin and rub it raw. I did cut them down a bit but the waist band will curl up and the velcro will move. Otherwise this is a great product, fits great and does its job very well.

Could not adjust it to fit after surgery.

So far so good. Fits as expected.

Over the years, I've tried a number of belts. My reason for the low mark, the belt itself is very comfortable, the best I've used. But, the last two belts, the company went from using a good quality hook and loop velcro, to using a more plastic substitute. And it will only last on my last two belts, about 3 months. And then it will just start letting go.Luckily, my girlfriend sews, and we've been reusing the older hook and loop velcro on the newer belts. Please bring back the old velcro and I will gladly give this 5 stars.

Works great for an inguinal hernia. Order an XL and I'm at the limits of the straps. 6 foot 212lbs. A large would have fit better but this works.

Straps from front to back are tricky to attach correctly but total assembly seems to being doing its job

Pads don't go low enough for the effective parts to work the straps are to long needed the Pads To go lower.

The velcro lasts a week. It curls up and keeps coming undone.
