DPTOOL Fuel Injector Remover Installer Tool for Jaguar 3.0 Land Rover 5.0L

Just what I needed. Used for my 2011 Range Rover 5.0. Without this tool idk if I would ever be able to pull these injectors.

We ordered the wrong tool. However, this tool came as advertised and came quickly. I was very satisfied with the tool and their service. We have to find the right tool and are looking locally! Thanks again.

Here’s my setup and tips: Make absolutely sure you have the tool collar well fitted to the injector as seen in my last pictures and the collar that locks it down all the way down and seated so you about stripping or breaking the injector head, the tool fits very well, recheck after a few blows. If you want to actually get these injectors out you need some more leverage, the slide hammer is simply too lightweight. I added an old bmw wheel bearing under it for more leverage and was able to get more load on them which helped a lot but wasn’t enough for the center positions. What helped the most was using a old brake rotor plus the bearing on the slide hammer, have someone else hold the rod for the slide hammer centered while you hit it and they come out in like 3 hits it’s insane. I was hitting it with the normal setup for hours and no dice. Also soak the holes in your favorite penetrant say aerokroil or whatever. Also if you’re gonna buy the tool, expect the extra bucks to get the injector seal installer with it too, if you need to do your valve cover gaskets in the future, you need to pull injectors and replace the seals on them.

Good tool. Used it flawlessly to pull out 8 injectors. My only complaint is that the tool could be longer to clear the strut towers better and the weight heavier to help ease the force necessary to remove then. Definitely will be using this tool more often in the future!!

The tools is invaluable. It works well and I dont think it's possible to remove injectors from a Range Rover without it. Injectors on these vehicles are very tough to pull in general so some patience is required. My complaints about the tool are that I wish the length was longer or came with an adapter to lengthen the throw with the slide hammer or for a heavier weight on the hammer. Personally, I use an adapter with an air hammer and the "Texas Twister" air hammer attachment and it makes this job so much faster but you will have to disconnect the hood and put it up at 90*s. Other than that my tool worked very well and didn't seem to have any quality defects. A tip if you've never used the tool is you must hold the bottom clasp down onto the injector for a good grip to pull it out, otherwise the tool will slip off. I wish there was a locking mechanism to hold it on but this is just the way Jaguar designed the tool.

The handle is quite short, so the reach is weak. But it does its job.

Read the description good. Petrol only. Lucky someone made me an adapter so i could use it on my diesel. My mistake, did not read carefully
