Good service, Nice product, Happy customer.
The Cryptex Round Lock USB Flash Drive (32GB Version) is a high-quality metal lock case that has a USB inside, to open this case you will need to turn the dials/cogs into the right position (the four circles with dots need to be facing the correct line/dot) to open.The case feels very sturdy and strong, and the dials/cogs seem to vary with how smooth/stiff they are. (on the unit I received the top left cog seems to be a little stiff while the top right and bottom left seem to be comfortable to move, the bottom left seems to feel lose then at other times as comfortable as the other dials/cogs)The part of the case that has the USB encased in it seems to not be removable when the dials/cogs are not in the correct position and seems to be held in place quite well with little to no movement.The USB I received with the unit originally did not work (which I then discovered 2 days later, had worked on a Raspberry Pi that I had ordered and set up. Not sure why it only registered on the Pi and not any other devices) and I had contacted the seller to see what could be done, and with fast service/support, I received a replacement drive (excluding the case) within 2 days that worked and more importantly had fit in the case I originally had just as snug as the original USB.The USB has 30GB storage available and transfers files quite quickly, which is good for me as I will use it for music and video transfers/storage.I have given this product 3 stars as:The dials/cogs seem to vary in stiffnessThe original USB seems to only work/register on a Raspberry Pi, but with fast and easy customer service had received a fully operational USB that works on every device I own.I would also purchase from this seller again in the future as it was fast, easy, and the product is very top notch!

Please do not buy.
Had the potential to be good. Unfortunately, half of the dials were almost too stiff to move, the other half were too loose to stay still. I couldn't actually get at the USB and after a while, when I laid the thing on the table and tried to keep the dials in the right place, and finally got the USB out, I found it wouldn't go back in. I should have realised how bad it would be from the fact that most of the good reviews got paid off with free or discounted merchandise. Were it free, I would have given it five stars, but it's not worth £45. DO NOT BUY!

I love the mechanical idea of the "Cryptex" to lock away ...
This a lovely, solid feeling, very "steam punk" atmosphere object. I love the mechanical idea of the "Cryptex" to lock away the flash drive, which itself is nicely solid. If I could wish for anything different on this item ? it wold be that the object as a whole was in a Full Hunter Style pocket Watch, with a watch face being behind one opening panel, and the "Cryptex" mechanism hidden behind the back panel. Maybe if they make a MK.II version ??????

collectibe !
Well,a lovely collectible-the only drawback is that the USB stick does not work (tried with PC,MAC,exernal USB connectors aso.) Sending the round cryptex back would be rather costly so I have simply ordered another one (hope this one works).Anyway-greetings from Austria and let us hope this will be the worst experience in 2016 (I do have my doubts).

Beautiful presentation
The USB arrived in a pouch within a nice box. It is a gift and everyone who has seen it thinks it looks fantastic. I can’t wait until my daughter unlocks it.

the mechanism is fine though.
The USB is too short and will not engage fully plug into some of my equipment, so its 50/50 if it is seen depending on what pc/laptop i use.the mechanism is fine though.

Awesomely cool
I wanted a new USB stick and found this as I searched. I really liked the Steampunk design and was impressed it was made out of metal not plastic or resin. It came nicely packaged and only took a few days to arrive , and it is as cool as it looks in the pictures. It is quite heavy too which was surprising so it really feels like you're getting your moneys worth.If you purely want a functional everyday memory stick it probably wont be for you, although it works as perfectly fine as any cheap plastic one would.If you want something very cool looking this is perfect.
