Works great for DSLR tethering, with one slight caveat.
I bought this product since I’m a professional photographer and was tired of Tethertools being the only realistic option for tethering, and then you’re at the mercy of USB technology and its 15 foot maximum length limitation without booster adapters. The only problem is that the unit on the camera end needs to be powered by a 5V/3A adapter, so you have to have a power source on the camera side, or do what I did and created my own tether cable out of a 25 foot Ethernet cable and a 25 foot adapter extension, wrapped in a nylon-braided sleeve. That way the remote unit on the camera is powered by the cable, and you can plug it in on your tethering station. The only limitation is the voltage drop on the adapter extension, since you can run the Ethernet cable up to 150 feet. With a 25 foot extension the voltage drop is still within acceptable ranges and it works great. You could probably find a higher voltage adapter for longer runs provided the drop is still within range (4.5-5 volts) at the end. There’s voltage calculators online that can tell you this information. I’ve been using this in my studio for about a month now and I have no issues. I have two separate camera bodies I use (Nikon D7200 and a Sony A7II) I can leave both of their USB connector cables attached to the tripod since the remote end has four USB plugs, and I can swap bodies without having to use a different tethering cable. I just plug the camera into the right cable and I’m off to the races. Overall it’s a great product, although I wish they would power the remote unit via PoE (power over Ethernet) instead of with an adapter. That would make it much more of an elegant solution, since you’d only need a single cable instead of the franken-cable I created.

Moved noisy hard drives to the closet!
While working from home due to Covid-19, I became increasingly annoyed all the noisy blinking equipment I kept by my desk. I was able to move a majority of network junk, but one of my devices I use for backup, a Drobo, was USB/FireWire. I looked at FireWire extension options, but they were ridiculous priced for old technology. The Drobo is not terribly fast, so I settled on this USB 2.0 Extender. I have two 50 foot Ethernet cables running from my desk. One for network and one for the USB Extender. The Ezcoo extender had a solid metal construction and easy to mount. It is working so well I have added a non-powered USB drive, with 2 of the 4 USB ports free I plan on adding one other external hard drive. I found no issues with speed, transfer, or backing up my Desktop. Well worth the cost + $10 for a 50 ft cat cable.

First one worked perfectly, this one though was faulty
This is a very sturdy and nice-looking little item that does wonders when it works. I had ordered one in the past and I love it! It's been working fine from the first day! This one though, for some reason the signal keeps dropping. I've replaced the cable and cable endings, powering either one of the boxes and it doesn't work properly. It seems as if it has some kind of interference that makes the signal drop making my mouse and keyboard operation stop unexpectedly, then resuming after a few seconds. This is super annoying. I guess I hit the jackpot from the other side of the spectrum. I'll update the rating to a 5 once I receive and test my replacement.

The best option.
I tried a number of solutions to connect my couchmaster lap desk to my PC over 50+ ft of cable. They all failed to provide a reliable connection. This, however, works perfectly. No perceptible lag, quick connection, no drop outs.

Direct Connection Only
Very Important: This will not work through a switch or patch/switch setup. Id give 5 stars if it didnt have to be directly connected ethernet end to end.

Good Value - Works As Intended
I bought this to allow me to extend my cord an additional 15ft (~5m) in my office. Th device works as intended. What comes in the box: 1x power cable 1x transmission (printer cable) - so don't buy one. 1x 4-port USB in box with ethernet out (female receiver). 1x USB transmission box with ethernet in (female receiver). What you need: Ethernet cable with male connectors the length you want to run it. Up to 4x USB devices. What you need to know: This is a powered device. It comes with the unit. You will need to plug the USB to computer (or Mac) directly and not through a USB hub. I just got it set up today and it works great. I recommend this product. If anything changes, I'll post an update.

Works flawlessly!
It was really just a simple plug and play, no extra gimmicks or tricks, as computer accessories should be.

Worked initially, but stopped after a year.
I had purchased this product for my home PC setup. My computer is in an AV closed in my basement, where it connects to a TV. Then upstairs (two floors up) my pc connects to a pair of monitors. I used this device to provide reliable usb 2.0 connections for my keyboard, mouse, and other devices. It was working fine for a while and I was happy with this product, but I moved some items around in my AV closet, and unplugged the transmitting end (the one that connects to your pc), and it simply wouldn’t turn back on. Disappointed in this product as things should last longer than a year!

Great value!
This is a great extender; unlike 99% of similar products, there's absolutely no lag on this device whatsoever. In fact, I'm running my mouse/keyboard from it, 12+ hours a day, and I've not had a single stutter whatsoever. When you connect other heavy-duty devices (data-wise) to this hub, it copes perfectly and again there's absolutely no lag.

La compra para extender el usb de una X32 unos 30 metros y funcionó perfecto Ahora solo tengo que arreglar la latencia

Like many others it died completely. Expensive rubbish, non returnable.
Worked well for several weeks then completely died. Nearest amazon drop off point is 4 hours drive from here (2 there, 2 back) so I was stiffed for my $100. Avoid - something is fragile electrically in this design and long cable runs (even cat 6) pick up induced voltages and expose voltage differentials even on the ground line.
