Get the right size
I like the ease of use. No special care required. Treat as regular dessert mold, or similar pan. Clean and dry, store with small cloth or silicon pan separators for long life. I use light coating of avocado oil for salads. Have pans ready to go with oven preheated. Fry tortillas briefly in a little oil evenly. I like a little more well done on centers because wet ingredients will eventually soften the bottom of your salad bowl, itself. Outside edges crisp quickly, baking in oven. Do not bake too long. I have used single and double pan methods, for different results. I flair mine to one side like a turkey, careful that side doesn't burn. Fill with drier ingredients, then more wet ingredients to the top, otherwise mix up the order to your liking. Small size pan is for appetizers or smaller people. Larger size is for main dish or larger people. Two small could also be quite filling, depending on your filling. Appearance will vary greatly depending on type of tortillas, and how you position them within pan. Basic care will extend value of pans. Can be fun to use and add some variety to your meal plans. Step by step Preheat oven to 350'. I wouldn't recommend higher as your oven may run hot, discolor/damage pan, ruin food, spoil dinner plans, and maybe provide pyrotechnics. Oil inside of pan with high smoke point oil to ensure non-stick, add flavor and texture to baked tortilla. Place single tortilla into oiled pan, careful not to rip the tortillas as they tear especially easily when not pre-fried. Place second pan on top of tortilla and ease into place. Set the pan in the oven once temperature is about 350'. Bake at 350' for 4 minutes, then carefully remove the top pan NOT WITH YOUR HANDS. Easiest to take them out with oven mitts, then set the top pan aside. Return the lower pan/tortilla to the oven for about 2-3 minutes, then shut off heat and remove the pan when you are happy with the doneness. To keep tortillas warm when dinner time changes, reduce oven to less than 200' to keep the tortillas warm a little longer before serving.

OMG AMAZING!
I could not believe how good my tortilla shell turned out! Better than ones from local Mexican restaurant! I used maker inserted shell then placed the other maker on top inserted in my air fryer (as temp here is 107 outside so did not want my oven on) baked for 8 minutes, after 5 took off top maker. Baked for 3 remains minutes and was perfect! Shape stayed crisp clear through to the bottom. Of course, I had drained my ground beef really well after browning! Better than ones at restaurant! So easy! Where have these been! So glad I came across these! Would definitely buy again. Am going to give as gifts to several people! Love these! Little expensive but the function is great. I used the large super soft tortillas and as stated came out perfect! Looked great and tasted even better!!

Easy and quick to use
These pans are easy to use and produce a tortilla bowl in mere minutes. I used 10-inch burrito-size flour tortillas, and lightly brushed the inside of them with oil after putting them in the pan. I plan to try the even larger tortillas next time.

Great product
Smaller than expected but GREAT product! We eat taco salad at least twice a month and this is a great way to make our own shells. Easy to clean and store.

Done in Air Fryer instead of Oven, Review
Used these Taco Shell Makers for the first time today after purchasing here. Instead of crisping the tortillas in the oven, I instead used our Corsori air fryer, also purchased here. I was wise to crisp shells one-at-a-time this first time and that really paid off. Here is what to know. What happened with the first shell may not have happened in a standard oven, but it did happen in my air fryer and would likely have happened in a convection over. I lightly oiled the both sides of "very large" tortillas as they laid flat on a cutting board, but learned not to oil the area that will become the bottom or floor of the taco shell. I then molded them into the metal shells. Was easy to do. I used a setting of 350ยฐF and set the air fryer for 8 minutes. Should have made an interim check but did not. When time was up I sadly found the tortilla had closed up, like a day lily or tulip at the end of a day. No way to recover as it was crisp. Undaunted, for the second tortilla I first molded it into a shell, but then I placed a second of these metal shells into the formed tortilla, sandwiching it between two shells to keep it from closing up. That worked famously! I cooked at the same 350ยฐF setting for four minutes. Then I removed the top metal shell, being careful not to break the browned tortilla. It held its shape nicely. Then I placed just the then-formed tortilla back in the air fryer, still in a metal shell, for 2-3 minutes to crisp up the bottom. Worked perfectly. Then cooked two more. Great! (see photo). I highly recommend these. Just remember to practice with one tortilla at a time until you see the results you want, then replicate.

Works great!
These taco bowl shells work great. I read another reviewer that mentioned that they had to use an air fryer. So I decided to give the airfryer I try first before the oven. I cooked out to taco meat and got all the fixings ready. I uploaded a video so you could see what I'm referring to when I say to use to molds to make one bowl. It comes with 8 mold so if you use the oven you could kit for molds going right away at a time. The reason you put the tortilla in the mold and then place another mold over the top of it is to prevent the tortilla from closing up. The top mold prevents it from doing that. A couple of minutes in the air fryer at 360 degrees and I was able to pull the molds off the top and bottom and then the mold had heated up enough to hold its shape. island turned it upside down because the heat from my air fryer comes from the top and cooked it another couple of minutes. I cooked my first one bowl a couple of minutes too long and should have checked. But I learn from my mistake and on my second try was perfect. Is there a huge hit what's my teenagers. In the video I am using a large tortilla men for burritos so that you get a larger Ball but you can use tortillas that actually fit the mold. You can find a larger burrito size tortillas in a tortilla section of your grocery store. We've been eating at home a lot during the pandemic so this was a new treat and very well received.

SO PRETTY
I can't help but smile when I look at these dishes. Sad I know, but I think anything that gives your spirit a lift is worth the money. They are a gorgeous shape and the colour is rich and vibrant. They are practical as well, freezer and oven proof, so I am planning to batch cook in them. I bought some stretchy plastic covers for them so I can put them in the freezer without worrying about spillage. Happy Days.
