I recommend them over that store bought frozen brand, even though those are good also. When they're baked the bottoms get a slightly grill pattern and sometimes produce flakes. The small black flecks on the inside of the packaging is just from the bottom of the pretzel, entirely edible. Alot of care went in to the manufacturing of these pretzels, right down to the wonderful pretzel salt and airtight packaging. Should keep well in the fridge for several days. There is a very distinct aftertaste that reminds me of those artificial sweeteners. I should have just purchased the plain.
