Excellent hair dryer......
I really like this hair dryer. It has a powerful blower motor, it is light weight, very well made, small enough to allow for easily handling, and drys hair quickly. I do not believe it drys more quickly than other dryers, as advertised, but it works very well.

A Good, solid hair dreyer but very powerful
A Good, solid hair dreyer but very powerful. If you have fine hair like I do it tangles it on high speed. If I use it on a high speed I end up with a huge mess on my head. I use it on a medium speed and it does a nice job but I kind of miss my old hair dryer that I did use on high speed for extra volume. This one gives extra volume but it takes more of "work" for me to manouver between settings to get my hair style just right. But I am keeping it because it is a solid hair dryer and it looks like it should last plus it is gentle on hair.

Superb blow dryer by Kadori Professional, but NOT RELIABLE.
UPDATE 3/11/2018 In August of 2017 I found a repair service in TX who for $30.00 + $10.00 return shipping will repair the motor. When I 1st contacted him, he was not familiar with the brand. He requested photos of the motor. So, I had to open the unit to take the pictures. He evaluated them and determined that it was repairable. I finally sent it to him in November 2017. Contact Chris Cogburn - Salon Repair Services - 147 Winchester Road Bastrop TX 78602 Contact phone 512-461-5705 My unit was repaired, and it once again works great, as it originally did.☺ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPDATE June 2, 2017 I down rated it to one star, as only after 1½ years of use, the motor started whining! At first not so strong, but now is extremely noisy. So it can not be used anymore! This is extremely disappointing, in that I spent over $150.00, and I thought that I was buying a professional quality tool which would last a long time. Unfortunately, at least about the lasting a long time, is NOT the case. (Though when it was working normally, it does a nice job.) I do not recommend buying this blow dryer, as I think they are completely unreliable as far as durability goes. Jan. 31 2016 I am very satisfied with the Kadori blow dryer. The only negative, as another owner commented, is, the o-ring type hook to hang the dryer on, does not appear to be very strong, and could easily break, if one regularly hangs up the dryer on that. The wind speed control options are fine, and the heat setting options are fine. I would not want it to be any hotter than it gets, on the high heat setting. Also, the dryer feels like a professional salon tool, not plastic-like, or chintzy feeling, as do the less expensive blow dryers. I also noted that the price dropped around $10.00, since I bought my unit. In summary, I would recommend it. I am glad I purchased it here on Amazon.

Love this dryer
I bought this to replace the FHI Platform nano salon pro 2000 after it started malfunctioning d/t a cord issue. Although I liked the FHI, I did not want to chance another cord issue since it was only a year old. I love the Kadori...it is weighted just right and relatively quiet. It is smaller than the FHI and easier to manage. It comes with a diffuser as well as the nozzle to direct air. It definitely cut down on my drying time, which really makes my husband happy! Delivery was FAST!!

Recommended, but awkward button placement
I've now had this hair dryer for about 3 months. I've had no mechanical issues with it. On the pro side, it is very light, relatively quiet and it dries my hair, which is quite long, quickly, though the drying time is not significantly faster than my old salon quality ionic, non-infrared hair dryer. (It is however much faster than drugstore/major retail hair dryers I have owned). I also like the plug, which seems a lot sturdier than my old hair dryer. However, I can't tell any major difference over my old hair dryer in terms of frizziness and shine. On the con side, this hair dryer doesn't have a removable filter/screen over the air intake, which would make it a lot easier to clear out lint or hair (especially dog hair as my bf uses it sometimes to dry the dog after a bath). I also really hate the button placement and strongly considered returning it for that reason, though I ultimately decided to hang onto it. Though the placement might be fine in a salon where the dryer is being used to dry someone else's hair, when using it on your own hair adjusting the heat or fan, or turning off the hair dryer is cumbersome and requires the user to reposition the dryer to reach the buttons. In addition, the cool shot button has to be held down to be used and is an awkward rocker button that is hard to press down. Bottom line, if this hair dryer is an upgrade over the Conair you had in college, you'll love it, but if you are changing from something of comparable quality, it's really more of a lateral change than an upgrade.

This thing works even after 3 years!!
I was prompted to write this review after I just bought my daughter a $300 blow dryer of another brand for Christmas (I didn’t pay that amount...it was on sale). I wanted to try this blow dryer and see what the hype was about. So I did. Completely let down. I bought my Kadori blow dryer 3 years ago. I’ve loved it since I got it and thought it was well worth the money. And after trying my daughters new blow dryer, I was even more convinced. My Kadori dries my super thick hair in about 7 minutes. The one for my daughter took EIGHTEEN MINUTES!! My hair is never very frizzy after using my Kadori. The other one...had to reach right for my flat iron to tame it down. I will say, this blow dryer is the heaviest I’ve ever used. However; after about the first week, I didn’t even notice it anymore. I’m going on 3 years of owning and using this blow dryer just about every single day and I still LOVE IT!! I highly recommend it. I’m not getting paid or any compensation for this review. I just had to write it after my experience with another blow dryer that was super expensive.

Okay, but not amazing, stopped working after 2 years, not worth it. I'm switching to Rusk W8less.
What a shame.....I'm so disappointed that such an expensive product stopped working after almost 2 years. I really thought I was buying a high end, quality product. Thank goodness I purchased it with my Amex which doubles the warranty. This product comes with a 1 year warranty, so luckily, I'm just under two years and can still file with Amex since the Kadori people were unable to do anything for me. It's so unfortunate that it stopped working for no reason at all. I reached out to customer service and they suggested I press the reset buttons (as if I was born yesterday and hadn't tried that, and other plugs in the house, already). Besides the fact that my old cheap Conair blow dryers have worked for 10+ years while this one stopped after 2, this appliance is overall good, but not amazing. My mom had visited me once and really loved this blow dryer. She asked me to buy it for her as a gift. Instead, I bought her the Rusk W8less, since she complains of painful wrists and I thought it was important to address that health concern. Since then, I've had the experience with both products. The Rusk W8less blow dryer, while half the price ($77), actually does a much better job. I never believed that a blow dryer can make a difference when it comes to frizz. I thought the Kadori was doing a good job until I used the Rusk. I was actually amazed at the difference. I usually have to really work to straighten out the hair and reduce the frizz, but with the Rusk, it just sort of happened without me putting in much effort. It's also much lighter than the Kadori, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience. The Rusk blows air in a way where your hair isn't blowing all over the place, it's somehow calmer, more directed, yet manages to dry hair very quickly. So, since this Kadori quit on me unexpectedly, I'm going to ahead and switch to the Rusk W8less myself. And since Rusk offers 2 years warranty, at least I know I can count on having this product under warranty for at least 4 years since I'll be buying with my credit card that doubles the warranty.
