Lemongrass Essential Oil - 15 mL

I have to admit, I'm terrible about taking the time to review my purchases. With that said, I couldn't go on buying this oil, loving it the way I do, and not tell you what you'd be missing if you pass it up :) This is hands down my favorite (single) oil. I love blends, but I come back to this particular oil again and again for its pure, clean, refreshing scent. It's lemony as the name would suggest, but not overwhelming, like lemon rind or dawn lemon dish soap, etc. Somehow it has a lemon essence without smelling super citrusy. As I sit here trying to describe it, I keep coming up with contradictory terms... I find it uplifting when I add it to my cetaphil lotion and rub it all over my body after my morning shower, and yet relaxing when I add it to my diffuser when I get home from a long day at work. Speaking of adding it to lotion... Google lemongrass essential oil and cellulite and varicose veins, it also helps with edema, muscle fatigue, tendonitis, and a number of other things. So not only does it smell fantastic, but it's very helpful for lots of maladies for a very reasonable price. And as always, doTerra is absolutely unbeatable quality. If you compare oils side by side, young living oils are the only thing I've ever seen come close to the same quality, but they're ALWAYS more expensive.

I don't know if I've just become some new profound guru or new age hippie trying to go organic and everything just seems to suit me now, but this stuff really works. I use it for almost everything. May be a light exaggeration but I initially bought this for aromatherapy. I have now found over 99.9 things I can use with it. Another slight exaggeration. I was a little worried about it not being authentic considering I saw some comments stating creeps out there actually mess with the oils and reseal them. Not the case here. This stuff is legit! Call me weird but I love the smell of this oil. I had my nose pretty much on the seal upon opening and it was so potent I almost actually think I envisioned lemongrass coming from beneath me. Immediate third eye shocker. It has helped me get some much desired sleep and I have used it in conjunction with other oils to disinfect cuts/ingrowns. I am a veteran with PTSD so this oil has been useful and I have been able to see the benefits that come from using it. Expedient delivery and in good packaging. This was an emergency to ward off Ticks as a Tick Repellent for my dogs. I only had Eucalyptus and not Lemon Eucalyptus...which I believe is a different species of Eucalyptus and not just with Lemon Peel or Lemon Grass in it. Anybody know the Answer to this?

I mainly use it to attract honeybees. My wife likes to use it on her skin & to flavor water.

Purchased this Lemongrass essential oil instead of the brand I usually purchase on the advice of someone I know who has used this brand of oils quite often. After receiving it I used it to make my own cleaning solution that I use in bathrooms and kitchen. The scent is good, but not as good as the usual brand I purchase. It is not as "full bodied". Also, this essential oil scent did not last. It faded after 4 hours. It also took more of this oil to get the amount of scent I want in the cleaner. I will continue to use this until it is gone as the price point is a bit stiffer than other brands and the brand that I prefer. So for me, I downgraded to a 4-star rating as I feel this oil in particular is not quite up to the standard I prefer. I have not tried using it in a diffuser or in any other application except I did use it in one bathroom where I put two drops on the inside tube of a roll of toilet paper and the scent was undetectable the next day. The brand I usually use the scent remains for several days. This is a great trick to use in your bathroom to keep your bathroom smelling fresher longer after cleaning. Every time you roll the TP it disperses more scent in the bathroom.

Omg just buy it already.

Excellent oil for many ailments, especially for clogged carotid arteries.
