Can anyone tell me how to clean and season the Blackstone griddle so it doesn’t turn brown orange color.

Well, I bought this product and I used it for a griddle. I honestly don't know the type. In the instructions it tells you that the grill can be to hot. Because if you have it to hot then it gets burn and turns in to colors. Once you have the grill to a worm temperature then apply the liquid, then with the handle and the scrub sponge scrub in one direction up and down, then after less then 5 minits, use you're squeaye.

I have a portable stainless steel griddle that i use on my outdoor grill. will this work on it? also, should i season stainless steel with oil?

Will work just fine. It will strip away any seasoning already there, it works that well. I recommend using this for deep cleans only. After cleaning, I use lard to season. Season once. Let it cool, season again an hour later. You can use oil if that's what you feel like using. Different strokes for different folks.After using the griddle, just scrape away leavings as it cools, then spray some water on it to steam the rest off. I use the provided squeegee to swipe to water away then wipe down with a lint free cloth. This keeps the seasoning in tact for next use whilst leaving you a clean griddle.

Why does my flattop look orange after its cleaned and sits for a while? Anyone else have this happen?

Did you wipe the product off? I've not had this happen. Is it rust?
