My son is 6 so I did most of the assembly but he loved turning the screwdriver, breaking out the pieces, and putting the chain together. He was so proud when the car took its first drive over some books :) However, the chain links keep breaking while it drives. We put an obstacle in front of it, the wheels start to climb it, but the chain snaps under the slightest tension. I have to disassemble the axles, put in a new link, then reassemble the axle. Once I broke a link while trying to replace the first broken piece so we lost two pieces during one repair. Update: I contacted the seller asking for new chain parts and they immediately replied and will send replacements.
