Sprout well!!
I’m sprouting Rani beans, excellent so far. Pic showing Rani mung(front/right,) and Rani black urad(front/left,) 1/4 cup dried beans in each jar, I’ll use a little less next time, the jars filled up too soon. I have Rani chickpeas stored in the fridge, and Rani moth coming soon that I intend on sprouting with besides cooking with. Great company I use their spices, and dals also. Edit: Here’s a pic of the moth, too many beans to start with again! Two Tbs should be perfect. I’ve acquired a whole collection of Rani beans to sprout. They have others that haven’t made it to the Amazon Rani Store page, try searching for black beans for instance. note some are from India, and others from the USA. I’m so impressed with Rani’s quality, I’m now testing whether their spice seeds sprout, fennel, cumin, etc.

Easy to cook and delicious!
I've been using these for a long time now. They cook perfectly and work in most recipes.

Excellent quality
They are super tiny compared to the ones I'm used to. But very kernel sprouted! Expect the sprouts to be thinner than the regular size mung beans if you decide to try them.

Must have for vegans who love eggs
As a vegan these have been amazing. I will likely never purchase "just egg" again. They are too expensive. This is so easy to use and make your own vegan eggs. I will purchase this in bulk and keep it in my home always

An interesting bean
As a home chef, I wanted to try Moong beans in some recipes. This fills the bill, but the beans are not so unique that I will need to buy more - my curiosity on what moong beans are has been satisfied.

Open carefully over a big container.
This isn't a review about the actual product, but a notification about the seller and their packaging. I received the product in a well sealed external shipping bag, opened it, started to pull the factory packaging out of the shipping bag and now I have at least 4 pounds of Mung beans on the floor, in my shoe, under the cabinets, behind the stove, under the refrigerator, in the carpet...well, you get the idea. The side seam was obviously ripped at the time of packaging. I'll be finding Mung beans for decades.

Waste of Money – Very Poor Quality Moong Dal
I paid £11 for 1 kg of this skinned moong dal, which is already quite expensive, so I expected good quality. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I cooked it for nearly three hours, and it still remained only semi-soft. It seems old and just doesn’t cook properly. For this price, I was really hoping for fresh, tender dal that cooks easily, but this wasn’t it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it. It was waist of money!

Great product, too bad it never arrived
I've seen this product on store shelves and know that it's a great product but unfortunately it didn't arrive as it was stolen from my front door.
