Changing discs should only takes a few minutes. If it’s taking longer than that please reach out to us directly and we can walk you through the process. Some of our customers who need various attachments immediately will purchase multiple tools and rotate them out as needed.

Will all 20 volt batteries work?

The Hoof Boss is designed to fit the DeWalt Brand 20 volt battery and charger. Due to the different designs each battery manufacture has for there batteries and chargers our tool will only work with the DeWalt Battery.

Will this tool work on shetland ponies that are foundered?

Absolutely. The tool gives you the ability to remove material from the hoof in ways that you can't easily accomplish by using traditional hand tools. The material can be removed in almond sized slivers as thin as an egg shell. The tool has proven to be highly effective in most cases of laminitis when you need to therapeutically trim the hooves.

Does this battery powered shown have the coiled cord as seen on the website, or is it straight?
