## Description

The #1 hit series from Shojo Beat—a tale of vampire romance Cross Academy is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu are the Guardians of the school, protecting the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires! Yuki Cross has no memory of her past prior to the moment she was saved from a vampire attack ten years ago. She was adopted by the headmaster of Cross Academy, and now works alongside Zero to guard the Academy's secret. Yuki believes that vampires and humans can coexist peacefully, but her partner has different ideas...

Review: Classic shoujo but darker - I was a little late to the party with starting this manga but I'm glad I finally picked it up. I loved this first volume! It's definitely very suspenseful and has the classic shoujo feel but darker. I immediately ordered volume 2!
Review: Loved the anime! I got the manga and loved it too! - This is my first manga book that I've read and was pleasantly surprised. However it did take a little getting use to. The book starts from the back and goes toward the front and reads right to left. I was expecting a comic book but it's actually the size of a small paperback book. The pages are beautifully depicted but are in black and white. The stories give you a different perspective in the book. Some things in the show aren't in the book and some things in the book aren't in the show. There are 5 I guess you call them chapters which is the equivalent of 5 episodes of the show. I really enjoyed the extra details added in the manga like the night class perspective and the editors notes on the characters and story. If you like the anime/cartoon I would recommend giving the manga a try. Being able to see the differences between the show and the book is what I liked most about the book.
