Premium Ostrich Eggshell (Grade A, Large Size)

I don’t know nothing about ostrich eggs but these seem really nice. I’m a Jeweler by trade in an expert at piercing. I may try carving these or I may order more to do that but these are perfect for my Waterfront Crystal vases for Easter.

Perfect eggs for the unique decoration

This arrived in safe packaging and was well cleaned and drilled. If you're crafting with this, you'll want to do some VERY light sanding with fine grit paper, or a brief vinegar wash before you dye, otherwise it's a naturally shiny outer layer. Do keep in mind that the colors might absorb differently as you continue since you're removing the top layer, and the natural little divets will likely be visible unless you sand pretty far. The fun part is, since it's so thick, it can handle layers of vinegar etching. I've done 2 pysanky with these eggs and they're some of my favorites.

Its a big egg but not nearly as big as the last one I had. I still enjoy it.

Bought 7 eggs for a dinosaur themed baby shower. I made centerpieces with the eggs and souvenir for people to take home. The size was perfect as it really does give the impression it’s a Dino egg. The quality is great. Clean, no cracks and very well packed.

Bought some to add to what we had. Gave as xmas gifts to 10 family member. The great grandfather/grandfater/father of the family, an artist, use to paint scenes/animals on ostrich eggs. He has passed on at 104 yrs and we hope the tradition continues.
