**Q: Does this regulate its own voltage depending how many batteries you use?**
A: No, I don't believe so this kit is for 6v  (4 1.5 volt batteries) other kits likely have a different voltage.

**Q: how long is the power cable?**
A: About 1.5metres.

**Q: How long is the charge cable**
A: I’ve ordered this product twice and both times it was missing an eliminator. Contacted supplier but never replied, amazon refunded. Cable is a metre long. caveat emptor

**Q: What's the size of the DC plug? 8mm? 5.5mm?**
A: Not sure as I threw mine away after 6 months as it stopped working. May have got a rogue one but wasn’t comfortable that I could rely on it.

Bought this to power a Christmas mini pre lit tree - worked great and saved a fortune on batteries. Easy to use, decent length cable. Plug in the required number of batteries, making sure one of them is the one with the connections, and you’re good to go.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with an older Hive thermostat

I bought this for an older Hive thermostat that takes four AA batteries (the one with the rotary dial). It goes through batteries quite quickly. The supplied fake batteries fit perfectly and I carefully slotted the powered battery into the bottom. Plugged it in and it is working perfectly. I’ll see how long it lasts but for the moment it is as if I’d installed new batteries. Since I don’t move the unit around the delicate looking battery cable shouldn’t get damaged. Recommended!
