Good replacement on BurCam pump
Arrived pro.ptky, though the package was pretty damaged. Unit seemed OK. Installation was tough mainly because the old unit was very hard to get off. Ensure you use lots of PTFE tape, no sealing compound. Get the unit lined up correctly or the cables will be too short. Good substitute for the BurCam FluoMax controller at 1/4 the price. Unit appears identical (moldings are identical) though BurCam say this is a low quality copy. Plugged in, worked!

Much better than a regular mechanical pressure switch.
Excellent product, great price, this Pump Controller takes care of multiple faults which could happen in a well pump system which a regular mechanical pressure switch can not. Although this device can be used without a pressure tank, a pressure tank should still be used, it will help to prolong the life of this pump controller. Like other reviewers have stated, the packaging was damaged but the device was unharmed. After replacing several well pumps doe to water system faults which regular mechanical pressure switches can not handle, I feel perfectly at peace using this Pump Controller.

Worthless
I am on my 4th one in less than a year, 2 of this brand and 2 of another brand name but the same pump controller. My thought was I can buy 7 or 8 of these or I can buy one Torrium 2. After 4 of these failing I'm thinking maybe I should have bought the Torrium 2 pump controller. The Torrium 2 is what I replaced, but it lasted almost 10 years. So, now I will probably bite the bullet and get the Torrium 2. When you consider ruinning a $600 pump because the controller won't shut it off it makes sense.
