It says can be used by hand - how would you do that please?

as written on container ,manual use add 30-50 ml of solution per 1l of water depending on level of soiling ,spray on ,brush on or sponge on then simply wipe or vacuum ,i've used the solution in my vax machine and it works better than the vax solution ,but manual use i dont know how good the results would be ,anyway i hope this helps

Do you have to dilute or use straight from the container into a carpet shampooer?

You put the desired amount straight into the carpet washing machines tank.Then add your hot tap water to the fill level of the water tank.I added more shampoo than stated to give a better clean.

Can this be used in a vax carpet cleaner ?

I use it in my vax cleaner. Just don't add to much as it can bubble up

Has anyone used this in a Vax Spotcleaner upholstery machine?

Don’t use this solution if it’s for cleaning pet urine. Had to remove the carpet after using this product. The smell it left was horrific. Does not work.
