I had a make-up artist friend INSIST that I needed this brush, since I was unhappy with both my standard foundation brush and my tapered sponge brush. I couldn't imagine that I'd feel anything more than apathetic toward it as I feel toward the foundation brushes/sponges that I'd tried. WRONG! I love, love, love this brush and am so grateful I listened to her! My foundation application with this brush is so much quicker and more even than with the other means I'd been using. As with any brush, you can use it for buildable coverage, and this brush lets me blend on the spot as well. I didn't have to take an extra step to blend with a sponge. I know some folks prefer to pour the foundation onto the back of their hand and build coverage from there, but I found I had better results when I applied directly to the brush and went from there. I like the quality of the bristles (I don't end up with half the brush stuck to my face when I apply rigorously) and they are easy to clean. I am very happy with this purchase and addition to my brush collection. I definitely recommend!

Just received this in the mail and tried it with my liquid Clinique foundation. I loved it. I usually use a flat foundation brush and that takes a lot of blending work but with this it was so quick and the bristles are soft. I did notice minor shedding but I really like it. I can't believe it took so long for me to order this. I plan on keeping in the plastic holder that was around the bristles when not in use to keep it compact. Updated review: I've been using this brush for about a month now even ordered a mini one for concealer around my eyes. This brush works best when it's clean, and I haven't had any shedding when cleaning it. I use shampoo and warm water to clean it. When theres too much product on the brush it makes your foundation look streaky. But when the brush is clean and soft it blends perfectly.

I've been wanting to try a foundation brush for over a year now! I use eye brushes & they have made it so much easier to apply my favorite eyeshadows, Loreal infallible! I ordered a cheaper brush set that last year that had 4 eyeshadow brushes & 4 face brushes but they didn't work & even discouraged me! Still admiring all the new looks women achieve with blending brushes I looked into a few tutorials on YouTube & I bought a Lamora eye set due to all the positive reviews. I'm in love with this brand. So naturally when I decided to try a foundation brush I went back to the Lamora brand. This brush is amazing! Soft, yet dense enough to apply a flawless layer. I bought it for my Liquid Revlon colorstay! I love the whipped version & use it more with a blending sponge but this Lamora brush works with both Liquid & whipped foundations. I love this brand & plan to buy more! I definitely recommend this brush & all Lamora brush! Also, I paid for mine & didn't get any special discount. I buy on the reviews other buyers leave so I try to be as honest & helpful as possible to save other's from wasting their hard earned money! I hope this was helpful.

I am in love with this brush. I bought it because I felt like my beauty blender was ok, but at times my foundation looked meh. So I thought I'd try a flat kabuki brush for foundation application but didn't want to spend a ton of money on one. This brush is amazing for the price point. I get smooth application and it looks like my foundation is airbrushed on. I was honestly surprised it applied so fantastic for a brush I paid about $10 for. It has that heavy, quality feel to it and the bristles are nice and dense. It's definitely my favorite brush. It applies both my high end foundation and drug store foundations amazingly. Seriously, super happy with this brush. It does have a slight smell when you open it, but thats too be expected from the paint they use for the handles, and the packaging tells you to wash before use. Also, the package is really nice. It's like a resealable package you could reuse if you wanted to, with a plastic protector around the bristles to keep the bristles nice during shipping.

I have always applied my foundation with my fingers but decided to try an applicator, so I bought this brush and an egg-shaped beauty sponge after reading reviews on both (there are huge fans of both methods). I tried both but, personally, preferred the brush (it wasn't even close). I love that my fingers do not get makeup in the grooves of my fingerprints that I have to scrub off after putting on my makeup. The brush applies it evenly with a smooth finish. The bristles are well-designed and do not scratch; but rather, are soft and enjoyable. I have tried several methods and have come to prefer putting about 3 drops of foundation directly in the top of the brush (I use a pump top foundation) and then dapple the foundation all over my face to evenly distribute then I swirl and brush the makeup to a smooth finish. About once a week I use soap and water on the bristles to clean it and it has held up very nicely after a month or so of use.

The plastic cover is missing. The brush is softer and smaller. Sad!! I loved it before, but I won’t buy again!! Too many negatives

So far I’ve only used it for face powder application but I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like it and how it distributes the power so evenly and is so soft. Only con so far is that it smelled very strong of chemicals out of the package and considering it’s for the face, that’s a big con. Regardless, I washed it and the smell did go away.

Perfect makeup brush and very versatile

Thought I would try a flat top foundation kabuki brush. I’ve been using a cosmetic sponge and angled foundation brush. Bristles are soft and the foundation seems to glide nicely over my face using the brush. The only thing I might try next time is a smaller diameter brush head. It feels like a smaller one might work better in my hands but this is my first time using this type of brush so maybe I just need to get used to how to handle it. It’s only be a week so can’t comment on the durability of the bristles. I like it so far!

I was hesitant to purchase a makeup brush online, but based on reviews, I tried this one out! It's great quality, even after regular washes. I'm going to purchase another one!
