I love this product bought more than once.dries well, glossy as expected I used 1 or 2 applications use it in sketch books on wood or canvas dries clear. Make sure layers are thinly spread.

Very great varnish, it is not too watery and not too thick. I used it to glase my sculpture which included different materials (mdf wood, acrylic paint, plastic, paper). It enhance the appearance and blended the colours well.

I absolutely love this varnish. It has so many plus points. So it’s a water based varnish that’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. I wanted it to varnish a little Jewellery box which has an acrylic paint finish. I needed it to seal the box whilst not damaging the paint work. It did a fab job. You need to apply at least two thin coats leaving 3 hours between each coat. I did as instructed and actually added 3 coats. You get a glossy finish which is not too shiny which is what I was after. It brings out the grain of the wood without making it look like you’ve added a layer of plastic. I did get a minuscule run on some pink paint but think this was because the paint hadn’t fully hardened off as all the other colours were fine.. It didn’t spoil the end result. This is amazing value for money and when you’ve finished your brush washes out with soapy water. I’m really pleased the brush bristles didn’t go a little hard afterwards which was a problem I had with my previous gloss varnish. It does have a smell when you apply it. It’s not awful and disappears really quickly. I will definitely be using this for all my projects in the future. I’m going to varnish a piece for the garden so we will see how it performs outdoors. It says it gives a waterproof finish and I’m pretty sure it will work based on my little box. A really excellent varnish at a great price.
