Perfect intersection of comfort and price - flat, wide feet - on and off road riding
I researched every touring/adv moto boot that has ever existed. All of them from all of the sites. I had settled on a boot that I felt was a little more than what I wanted to pay, but it seemed the best for what I needed: a calf/mid calf boot for light off road and moto camping trips that wasn't too hot (I am very hot natured) and worked for flat, wide feet. For reference, my other moto shoes are size 11 except for my pair of waterproof zip boots that are a 12. I normally wear NB size 11, 11.5, or 12 depending on the style and whether it is 2E or 4E. After I thought I knew what I was getting, I stumbled upon this boot from O'Neal that hadn't shown up anywhere else. I had considered another O'Neal boot at a lesser price point, but reviews talked about how thick the boot was at the toe and a few other minor points that made me look elsewhere. I read all of the reviews on this boot and one other, so I went ahead and ordered a size 11 in this O'Neal and a size 12 in another boot. The other boot (from another brand and cheaper than these O'Neal boots) had some of the issues I was trying to avoid: huge toe box, super bulky, and just not what I was looking for. I tried on these from O'Neal and immediately loved them, but they felt a little snug on my left foot at the pinky toe side with some medium thickness socks that were midcalf. Length of the boot on my foot was perfect, but the width felt a tiny bit tight and my socks didn't go high enough to prevent the boot from rubbing on a spot on my calf (which I read in another review). I almost sent them back and was going to wait for a 12, but I had read a lot about how boots like this will loosen up in width after use. I also knew, from my size 12 boots, that I didn't want to leave too much room in length for off road riding and for some possible moto hiking/camping. I'm glad I didn't. After getting a few pairs of thinner, but durable, hiking boot socks that go about up to my knee, I found these to be more comfortable in width and also no longer hitting a spot on my calf. Then I went for a ride and knew by the end that these were the right boots in the right fit. They were definitely more comfortable by the end of the ride, very comfortable when I was standing on my pegs (Vstrom 650), and I didn't have to adjust my shifter. I did have a few mis-shifts going up in gears while getting used to the boots because they have a bigger toe box than what I normally wear, but it wasn't an issue enough that required me to raise my shifter (which I wanted to avoid for when not wearing these boots). The only downside so far is that they are warm, but it's an off road moto boot that goes mid-calf and is waterproof (which I have not yet tested). I think they're probably about as cool as a boot like that can get, and the socks I selected helped. I haven't gone on an off road trip yet, but I tested out everything I'd need to do with them and they seem great. It helps that they have thick soles because I'm not the tallest at 5'8" and these help me get a slightly better feel at stops since the VStrom is taller than my other bike. I'm planning a moto camping trip as soon as the weather stops being a jerk and I'll edit my post if there are any issues with the boots. I may wait until next spring to do an update so that I'll have them for a year before discussing durability or waterproofing. Bottom line: I recommend giving them a try. They fit my flat, wide feet pretty well at my normal size. If they feel barely snug, which usually drives me crazy, give them a minute to break in.

Nice boots
I'm not an aggressive rider so these are great for me. Plenty of protection when you fall over. They break in pretty quick. I wore them around the house for a bit. Comfortable to walk around in. Not to fat to get under shifter. Good feel on brake as well

Fantastically Versatile Boots
MY USE CASE Bought these boots in anticipation of buying my 1st motorcycle. Have been riding my ebike w/ them alomg w/ some other moto gear to test fit & feel. INITIAL INPRESSIONS These boots are extremely comforatble, despite being bigger & more protective than the barefoot / zero drop footware I generally prefer. The were comically squeaky the first few days/ rides, but w/in the 1st week of wearing them, they're already silent. COMPARED TO ALPINESTAR TECH 3 BOOTS This is my 1st pair of motorcycle boots, so I can only compare them to the AlpineStar Tech 3s I purchased to try at the same time. The AlpineStar Tech 3s definitely have a lot more protection, & I'd trust them under worse situations than these (pretty sure one guy's review mentioned his foot got ran over by a truck, & was able to walk away). However, they were a lot stiffer, & the killing blow, they had the grip of a babie's bottom. Might grab on solid surfaces, but would have 0% traction in mud or other adventurous terrain. FINAL THOUGHTS These beautiful O'Neal boots are flexible enough to walk around in comfortably (could probably run in them, too), have the sole of a hiking boot, & were about as tall as the Tech 3s (can't remember which were taller). I can still crouch, walk, & pedal a bike in them comfortably, & definitely trust them to protect me from impacts & abrasions, even if I doubt their ability to prevent damage from being run over by a truck. Lord willing, between becoming a S.M.A.R.T. Rider (DanDantheFireman) & a better Christian, I'll avoid getting ran over by trucks in my life. Beautiful, comfortable, versarile boots. Will be taking camping.

I bought these because they were on special. First use was a camping ride around Australia which took a month to complete. Before departing I gave them a liberal dose of Dubbing to aid their waterproof ability. So easy to put of and off, these boots were super comfortable both on the bike and on foot. While the last two days of the ride was through heavy rain, the boots showed no sign of leaking.

This is a great comfort boots of an amazing confort and nice quality but advert for all mx riders and offroad, this boots are not strong enough for rock terrains.

Producto 100% recomendado! Felices compras!!

UPDATE AFTER 4 MONTHS - THE BOOTS THEMSELVES ARE NOW SUPER COMFORTABLE, I USE THEM WITH MY GOLDWING, VERSYS AND KLR. THEY FIT PRETTY EASILY UNDER RIDING JEANS OR PANTS AND LOOK PRETTY GOOD ON WHETHER YOU SEE THE WHOLE BOOT OR JUST THE FOOT PIECE. I'VE NOW HAD THE CHANCE TO USE THEM FOR SOME OFFROAD RIDING AND THEY PERFORMED WELL BUT NOT AMAZING. I ACTUALLY HAD A SMALL SPILL AND THE BOOT PROTECTED ME WHEN THE BIKE LANDED ON TOP OF ME BUT THEY DO LACK RIGIDITY AT THE ANKLE (SEE PHOTOS) NOW THAT I HAVE BROKEN THEM IN AND THAT COULD RESULT IN AN ANKLE OR LOWER LEG INJURY WHEN RIDING HARD OFF ROAD! THE BOOTS HAVE SOFTENED UP QUITE NICELY AND NOW OFFER REALLY GOOD FEEL ON THE BIKE AND ARE SURPRISINGLY COMFORTABLE FOR WALKING IN! THEY ARE PRETTY FLEXIBLE COMPARED TO MX BOOTS AS I'VE STATED SO YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER SOMETHING MORE STURDY IF YOU PLAN SOME SERIOUS ADVENTURE RIDING (I HAVE BOUGHT A NEW PAIR OF O'NEAL ELEMENTS FOR THIS - WILL REVIEW THOSE TOO). HAVING SAID ALL THIS, THESE BOOTS ARE WAY BETTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER BOOTS I HAVE OWNED FOR GENERAL PURPOSE RIDING. THEY ARE ALSO GOOD IN THE RAIN AND KEPT MY FEED WARM AND DRY. IF YOU WANT A GREAT BOOT AT A GREAT PRICE THAT DOES A LOT OF THINGS REALLY WELL BUT NOTHING AMAZINGLY, THESE ARE FOR YOU. I WOULD BUY THEN AGAIN. ORIGINAL REVIEW - Unlike some of the other reviews I found these didn't fit great at first. I'm a size 13 and pretty wide and there is only just enough room in the length and they were very tight at the start and I almost sent them back. I found the boots dug into me around the ankles at first when walking and adjusting the straps took quite a bit of work. I also wore them as regular everyday boots (walking around the house etc.) as well as riding in them to help break them in. Having said all this, I finally have them broken in and adjusted properly after a couple of weeks of perseverance and they are now very comfortable. They are good to ride in, they feel pretty sturdy but still have enough feel and movement to allow for easy operation of the bike. I haven't tested the waterproofness or long term durability but for now I'm very happy with the purchase. The price is pretty fair for these too.
