Crested geckos okay on this?

I use it for leopard geckos and Beardies in a drier state. I'm sure you can use it for cresties as well as its great for bioactive setup. Just make sure you keep it moist. It is a very very good substrate in my opinion and probably the best loose substrate with regards to impaction risks.

is this suitable for hognoses?

Yes, it should be absolutely fine for any arid reptile.

Great for Leopard geckos! An easy substrate to get as this is essentially a soil and play sand mix which is great for Leos. The only downside would be I wish it was 15L for £15 and not 10L

Great substrate

Great substrate for our leopard gecko's vivarium. Looks good, very natural looking. Do need to open the bag, spread it out and dry it out for a couple of days though before putting in vivarium otherwise humidity levels will spike.

Air out before use!

Ultimately, does exactly what it says. But I live in a fairly humid area, and within a couple of days I noticed mould fuzz appearing! I moved the enclosure to a slightly more dry room and left the door open for a few days, and haven't had any issues since- plus, my boy seems to love it!

Meinem Leopardengecko gefällt es und mir ebenso. Sichere Alternative zu Küchenrolle oder Gott bewahre Sand oder ähnlichem. Anfangs ist es etwas feucht und dunkler danach trocknet es wie auf dem Foto zu sehen. Interessant ist der Kot riecht nicht mehr bzw früher war der Geruch viel intensiver jetzt nimmt man ihn kaum warm.(Trotzdem sollte man ihn direkt entsorgen da ich über kein Bio Active Terrarium verfüge und es keine clean Up Crew gibt.
