The Tuttle Twins Set of 8 Paperback

The Tuttle Twin books bring big important topics down to a level where anyone can understand them. I use these books to teach government to my 3rd grader. I enjoy the additional resources included which allow you to study more in depth on the topics.

Loved reading these with my son (who just turned 6). I felt like the stories were on his level to have him involved and keeping his attention. We haven’t done all of the activities at the end of each story, but we have had a lot of time spent talking about the lessons the stories teach and how we see it play out in our everyday life. As he begins his career in school, I hope these books have helped laid steady ground work in him being a good and caring person. If nothing else, I hope he has the awareness and confidence to call out injustice and question when he is fed lies.

I purchased this series for donation to local students and school. The Tuttle Twins use pointed stories to emphasize the correct role for our government (not to GIVE us RIGHTS) but to create an environment where our RIGHTS are RECOGNIZED by others and by officials who work for us through government service. I recommend the complete series. The lessons contained were a normal part of our home instruction as reinforced in public and even parochial education before recent years. I bought these books for my grandchildren who are being home schooled. They are in grade school. I was very pleased to discover that the children (and their parents) liked reading them and found them interesting and educational. The topics in the books led to good conversions between parents and children about the topics involved, such as the law, education and commerce. The books have a deliberate conservative slant, which is one of the reasons I bought and like them.

I’ve read a couple of the books so far and have been very pleased at how the subjects were presented. Good stories and thought inspiring conclusions. Excellent.

My child will be smarter then 50% of Americans after reading these books. I’m glad to add some common sense to my child’s reading since they lack it at every public education school.

Bought the set for my grandchildren. My 9 year old couldn’t put the books down. Within the first two weeks she had read 3 of the books. The books stimulated a lot of conversation. Great books.
