Macadamia Nut Shortbread Classic 4.5 oz by Kauai Kookie

I purchased these in Kauai on my honeymoon and fell in love. I wasn't able to bring any back with me due to space constraints so I was so happy to find them on amazon. The quality and freshness matched what I found on the island. I look forward to being able to order this lovely treat again in the future.

If you can't afford a trip to Kauai but always wanted to taste an authentic macadamia nut shortbread cookie, these are the ones for you. These taste just like the ones I had on the island. It is very hard to eat just one, so if you are watching calories - look out. These only problem is not with the cookies, but with the packaging, the box is not really rugged enough for the rigors of Amazon shipping and more than a few times I've had my cookies arrive in pieces. I do wish they would beef up the boxes. I never had that problem when I would buy them at stores in Hawaii.

The worst purchase I ever made on Amazon. Do not buy these "cookies" unless you want to receive a bag of dry sand. There wasn't one cookie in the package, as a matter of fact, there wasn't even a half or a quarter of a cookie in the package! Amazing. The package did not appear damaged, but the contents were nothing but tiny bits and crumbs but mostly "sand". I mean like on the beach sand. Awful. I tasted the sand and it was dry and tasted like cardboard. Avoid at all costs! A really terrible waste of money. Whoever is selling this garbage should be ashamed.Deserves zero stars.

Okay, either stop selling them or figure out a way to get them to me in the shape of a cookie and not a box of pieces. I ordered two boxes(I'm from Hawaii) and I think there was only one fully shaped cookie! I'll order direct from Hawaii, pay the higher shipping, but at least I"ll have something resembling a cookie. This was my fourth time we these cookies, shoulda learned my lesson. But they always arrived in pieces!
