HFcoupe 10.2 Case for 2021 iPad 9th Generation, 2020 iPad 8th Gen and 2019 iPad 7th Gen, Multiple Angles Viewing Leather Folio Protective Cover with Pencil Holder Auto Sleep/Wake, Gray/Red

Well I was going to get a real leather case for my iPad 7th gen, but I thought I’d give this brown version of the case a try, and I’m happy I did. It doesn’t look quite as leather-like in person, but it could fool you if you didn’t know. It seems to be well-made and the flap that covers the screen has a decent amount of cushion in it. My iPad is below the lip of the case after pushing it into the cavity of the case, and it’s settled in nice and snug. And as an aside, I must say that the white bezels of my gold-colored iPad go well with the gray lip of this case. One thing I was worried about was the hand strap that you use to make it easier to hold the iPad vertically, has a bit of a hard and rough edge where the strap connects to the case, but you can actually only feel that if you pull your finger against that connecting point. In reality I don’t think that connecting point touches the screen when the case is closed because it’s below the level of the main part of the strap, and even if it did the rough part is not the top of that connecting point. But that concern is the only thing I could call a possible flaw. I can’t comment about the fit of the Apple Pencil holder since I don’t yet have the pencil, but for those concerned about getting it out of the holder, there are two open slots at the back of the holder which should allow you to pop out the pencil relatively easy. I do wish the hand strap was a bit tighter, but it does work fine as is. The case strap for holding the flap open works fine, as do the ridges that let you prop open your iPad to watch videos and such. The slot for papers on the front isn’t super roomy, but it’s good for a decent amount of papers I would say. All of the iPad buttons and connectors fit perfectly and are completely uncovered, except for the smart keyboard connector. If you plan on adding a smart keyboard this is not the case for you, although I’m sure you can still use a Bluetooth keyboard. I suspect that this case will be reasonably durable and will be more than worth the price. It’s not too heavy, and it makes holding my iPad easy in both the portrait and landscape orientation. If I could I would rate it 4.75 stars — nearly perfect. For the price I doubt you can beat it. I highly recommend it!

Love the leather look and feel is soft, easy to wipe down. Holds the apple pen on the side, has a couple of storage areas as well. I do not really use those especially the inside band as the case doesn't shut as effectively. I don't find myself missing anything for this case, it's nice and sturdy and the elastic band on the back is a great way to hold the case one handed for drawing/note taking on the go -Love this little case!

This case is exactly what I was looking for. In fact, I also bought another one for a friend. I like the way it folds and stands upright in 4 different positions. It also opens completely with the cover folding over onto the back if desired. The pen slot is inside the cover in the middle, making it much safer for your pen or pencil than the covers which just have an elastic loop on the outside. The auto sleep/wake works well upon opening or closing the cover. It's easy to get to all the iPad controls and sockets while covered, and there is a hole for the camera and light meter. The outside pocket is convenient for a few sheets of paper, and the elastic strap keeps it closed if desired. Overall I like the look of it as well. Looks like leather even though it is not. Does not look cheap. Great deal at under $20! I have purchased the black and the navy - both are great. I use this on a new iPad 2021 9th generation 10.2" wifi only with 64Gb.

Quite a few years ago, my family and I were given an iPad 2. Along with it was a Targus THZ045US Versavu 360 Degrees Rotating Stand Case for Apple iPad 2, which you can still get on Amazon. That case has gone through a lot and it shows, but it continues to hold up. One of the reasons I purchased the Ruima Tech iPad 7th Generation Case was that it appeared very much like the Targus case. After receiving it, the overall look and feel is one of durability. The outer surface feels padded while the inner surface feels like it is covering something (plastic strips?) that will adequately protect the iPad. Stitching all-around looks fine. There is a shell that goes around the iPad and toward the center, has a pocket for an iPencil. At first, the iPad display would come up and shut down as the cover was opened and closed. After transferring the iPad 2 backup to the iPad 10 we purchased, this feature no longer works. Since the iPad 2 never had this, it is not something we miss. Also, the case make it difficult to press the Power Off button. But overall, it’s a solid 4 stars. To get that last star, I would like it to have the rotate ability the Targus case has. But if you put that single issue aside, it’s a 5 star for sure. It’s a nice case.

I went back and forth so many times ruminating over all of the different Ipad covers. I have had to have the Verizon (my cellular carrier) insert the Ipad in the cover each time I’ve needed to buy a new one. This time they said they weren’t allowed to sell them anymore so my poor Ipad had to hang around unprotected. At any rate I just received it a couple of days ago. It was packaged very professionally. This is so durable looking and appears very high quality though not actual leather. My concerns about inserting the Ipad correctly and safely were unnecessary. It is simple toinsert and secure. You just need to apply a little pressure at each corner. It is heavier than I expected but I am very happy with my purchase. I actually did not want to get black as my couch, loveseat are charcoal, but I got too involved with comparisons and forgot to select color. Oh well. Needless to say I highly recommend!

It has a business professional look while protecting the iPad. It has a slot for the Apple Pencil which keeps it from falling out and the sleep to wake function makes sure you conserve battery when not in use. It is a great case at a very reasonable price!

This case works great for our family, fits well, lots of options with the folding stand and strap. The gray color is attractive. Overall way better initial quality than iPad covers we have bought in the past so I'm guessing it will last a long time; some pride of craftsmanship went into making this. When it arrived, there was a noticeable indentation on the front where the cover had been pushed in, but it puffed back out within a day or two and now you can't even tell it was there.

Really nice case with good protection, the issue is when you use the case as a stand, if you move it slightly it keeps slipping from the groove and falling flat. Shame, it would have been 5 stars without the above problem

I bought a second one for my work iPad. I love the colours and the feel of it. It is very sturdy. So far, it has served me well. It does have a slot for an Apple stylus but I don’t use it since I use a different brand stylus. Overall, I would buy it again.

I was very excited to try my new iPad case, since I love this emerald green color, but I was very disappointed to find that my case had a scratch on it. I will be returning it. I do not have the time to go through this hassle......
