I needed a very simple alarm system for my cabin. This looked to fit the bill and has given me some comfort knowing it is quite loud when activated. Another reviewer said read the manual, seems silly but actually sensible. It's plain English (and clear) and there are some good things to know before you start. There are two PIR sensors, but one of the them is a pet sensor. You only know by reading the model number. I didn't see this until I had put up the pet sensor, so needed to change that. It's fairly straightforward to add and remove the gadgets. I also purchased the keyfob suggested as a package but this was not compatible with the alarm - excellent. I used the Yale technical contact form and they were brilliant. Told me what model I needed and therefore sent back to Amazon and bought the correct one. So, its a good inexpensive system. Easy to install, very easy in fact. It's loud so although someone might get in they hopefully wont stay for long. Don't trust the amazon suggestions they are wrong! If you are looking for extra gadgets for the system looks for ones that are compatible with the HSA models.

The flip down cover for the keypad is woeful and hinges failed within 5 minutes. Alarm easy to set up but not particularly loud alarm compared to others.

As I was moving into my new home, I was burgled. Thankfully I hadnt moved anything of value yet, but I was scarred by the experience... what would I do once I HAD moved in my electronic gear? This kit was easy to install, requiring no wires, and with some heavy duty double sided sticky pads, I didnt even need to screw anything in place. I did need to call support regarding dip switch selection to pair everything up on installation as the instructions provided are less than clear, but I was impressed with their telephone support, so thats a plus. The motion detectors work better from a distance... I originally had one positioned right next to my rear patio doors, thinking it would give me best detection up close. That was not the case. However, as I they are wireless, and I had installed the sensor with sticky pads, it was a simple task to move it to the far wall facing the doorway instead. I know its not an all singing all dancing alarm system, but it works, having even a simple alrm system as a deterrent has eased my mind considerably.

The alarm was easy to setup in the end and does just what I want, but what a saga! I ordered this alarm system to replace it's Yale predecessor which worked for me without problems for 18 years before the sounder stopped sounding. Having said that they have engineered a lot of cost out of it, the product feels cheaper. Despite being similarl to my old alarm I struggled to get it to work, possibly my fault. Amazon referred me to Yale support who were responsive with a good phone system and case handling. Without them this would be a one star review. BUT I ordered the key fob from the same Amazon listing at the same time. It arrived separately which should have sounded an alarm, if you will forgive the pun. After multiple support calls, (which with holidays took me past the 30 days return period) and trying things out I noticed that the radio frequencies on the key fob and alarm sounder did not match. Amazon had sent the wrong key fob. This was confirmed by Yale support who were handling multiple identical calls with the wrong key fob having been shipped. I assume a mismatch somewhere within the Amazon supply chain empire. Yale said it was an Amazon problem as I did not buy it from Yale, which is true. After the 30 day return period the Amazon automated customer service system cannot cope with this scenario . I eventually managed to speak to a human who agreed to refund me and I returned the fob. If you do want the right key fob the Yale model number is 666060001001 and you can buy direct, which is what I have done. Some tips: - Don't put a door sensor on a garage door as movement of the door when large vehicles pass will trip the alarm - The batteries last about 2 years. When one of the batteries senses low (multiple pips from the sounder), replace them all in one go.

If you take the battery pack out of the siren it's got a two pin plug and connect two rechargeable batteries to it or another way of doing the whole thing because the system goes off occasionally and that and people complain about having to get up the ladders in the night is to same with the actual siren itself inside the housing simple plug is keep that housing inside do the whole free wall have it inside have a BT phone line piece of cable connector siren and housing outside and run some cables to the bottom half of the siren and keep the top half of the siren in inside out of the way of burglars or anyone else job done no complaints absolutely excellent I said suggest people try the same themselves simple little job to do easy to do it you can YouTube it or anything

I placed the alarm in my box truck. Object is to keep all my racing parts and spares safe. I used the second motion detector to protect the truck catalytic converter. It would have been very convenient if one of the motion detectors had been a pet friendly version.

Absolutely perfect works but best of all how easy it is to set up thats the best bit i cant recommend this system enough its that good and great price as well and no wires so thank you very much .

J'ai récupéré la boîte aujourd'hui, elle est conforme à la photo avec un détecteur d'ouverture de porte, une sirène, un clavier mural et deux détecteur de présence. Il n'était pas indiqué dans la description si les détecteurs étaient adaptés aux animaux pour ce qui en ont. Je confirme qu'il ne sont pas adapté au animaux. J'essaie de voir avec le vendeur s'il peut ma l'échanger mais pour l'instant pas de réponse. La notice est entièrement en anglais! Super pour l'installation! J'ai demander au vendeur s'il existe une version en français. Pas de reponse
