Great for splatter
I got tired of mixing acrylic paint, gesso, or gouache with water for splattering on my handmade greeting cards and junk journal projects. Getting the right ratio was hit or miss, and these supposedly opaque mediums would pick up the color underneath and nearly disappear after they dried. And after all that, I had a puddle of leftover mixture to clean up. This ink is exactly what I hoped it would be! I can dip it right out of the bottle with a brush to eliminate the leftover waste, and it creates droplets that dry quickly and STAY BRILLIANT WHITE on top of my projects. The droplets range from tiny to medium; a bigger brush and/or a braver flick might be able to make bigger splotches, but I'm satisfied with the little ones.

Excellent, very white, opaque ink.
This is excellent white ink! It allows for bright white lines on a colored background, which is what I had been hoping for. Previously, I had tried diluting some Titanium White acrylic paint but the lines came out a faded white on the black background. So after reading reviews, I ordered it from Amazon and I'm very happy. I'm using a dip pen to create white lines with this ink, and have also ordered a technical pen that takes white ink. I highly recommend this ink for anyone who wants an opaque white line. I'm using a very fine tip on my dip pen and it's flowing and laying on the paper just fine. This ink does not fade to a translucent white (or grayish white) once on the paper. It stays bright white, no matter how fine the line.

Great Product!
This product is a blessing in disguise, it comes in very handy when you make a mistake when you are doing an art project like painting a picture! You can cover the mistake and paint over it similar to a typewriter whiteout product. It can also be used to put highlights on things too!

Good for white accents on watercolor art
This works really well for adding white on watercolor art. Splash on for snow or put a dot to make eyes shine. I love it!!!!

I am a beginner watercolor painter and this ink is easy for me to use to bring light to my watercolor paintings very easy to use and has good thickness to the pigment.

Best white ever
It is almost too white for me. However … with several very light touches of burnt umber mixed in the bottle I managed to match the Arches paper color EXACTLY. this allows me to use if as a correction fluid and for tiny white lines like whiskers, and not be over-bright. It is easy to work with and I now give my students a small container to use when the situation occurs.

I have struggled with finding the right, opaque highlight for my artwork for the longest time. I've used pretty much every alternative on the market, including jellyrollers (for which I paid considerably more than I did for this ink), only to find that they fade on certain mediums (like watercolour) or struggle to go on at all (with colour pencils). Dr Martins white ink has none of these issues. With every medium I have used, it goes on beautifully and completely opaque. I can honestly say that it's changed (and improved) the way I do art. If you are dissatisfied with the current products that you use for highlights or correcting mistakes, give this a try. It's worth every penny.
