Blocks out the sun so the room feels cooler.

Very good quality for the price. It's amazing how room darkening they are. It is just what I needed for the little grandson to take his nap. But then I can open them up and tie them back and I have the light again. I would recommend these panels to anyone needing a good room darkening curtain but want a nice looking window covering as well.

These curtains do NOT block the sun anymore than a dark sheet. The description says it blocks out 99% of the light and that is false. I have had blackout curtains that make a sunny room feel like a movie theatre and these felt like I hung a sheet over the window.

Got Beige. Direct or reflected sunlight lights up the curtain and comes through to illuminate the room.. Indirect daylight is blocked 90% or so. Any light behind the curtain is not absorbed but is reflected so if the curtain is not tight to the wall the light leaks past it and illuminates the wall and therefore the room. So since the curtain is on a rod, the wall area above the curtain is brightly illuminated. Maybe a black curtain would work better. Or for colors like beige a black backing would help.

Nice quality, very pretty, hangs nice, when open away from the sliding doors takes up very little room . Love them. I got the curtains as well.

Not what I exspected and some of the curtains had rainbow colors???

Be sure to doublecheck size. Size not as pictured. Also had faint stains on it and definitely should not be considered "black out".

Amazing at blocking out the light. These make a huge difference. I can actually sleep during the day now. Worth every penny.
