I bought this almost exclusively for doing jib shots or fake drone shots with a Telesin 2.7m selfie stick. All other mounts I'd used didn't allow me to use the WiFi module and have a side and bottom tripod screw, which precluded me monitoring the shooting via my phone. I know the Pocket 1 is a bit long in the tooth now but it still has the above uses for me aided by this mount or as a back up to my Pocket 2, if you still use a Pocket 1 I'd recommend the mount. Please note, this mount is for the Pocket 1 only, cannot be used with the Pocket 2, (I tried it to check)

The osmo has one input socket and it is at the bottom, if you use this it covers that input so you are unable to attach a mic or other devices. If they removed the lower section of the casing it might work but this just doesn't.

It is designed to work with the wireless module. And you can mount the controller wheel too. First you attach your wireless module to osmo, second you mount the two to harness and finally the controller wheel. To unmount you do in reverse. When you turn on your system, you can alternatively work with the controller wheel or the app to control your osmo pocket. You can use it without the wireless module but I recomend to use it with the wireless module attached because if not it has a gap in the bottom. And you can put a lot of stress to the controller wheel.
