Correct fit, works perfectly
The part number cross-referenced here matched the one in my Craftsman lawnmower owner's manual. The appearance differs from the original part, but it fit perfectly and solved the problem of my mower not re-starting when the engine was warm. Great price, too!

I only paid more to have a part matching the original. Not what I got.
I replaced Reference #333, Part #802574 - ARMATURE, Magneto First off, it does not match the picture. Yes it fit my mower and worked. No there are no extra screws, shims for gapping, or rubber boot for the end of the spark plug wire. The pressed pin in the side is not copper like others. My issue is the resistance is 5.8k ohms. Most instructional things online say the ohms should be between 2k and 5k. Over 5k, the spark will not be strong enough. My old one was at 4.8K and hardly giving me a spark. The original manual does not list the resistance. So I contacted the seller. They wanted a reference number for my order before telling me the resistance. I sent it and explained that Amazon would not let me link the order to the message. They replied that the part was correct and matches the OEM specs. If I needed a refund, I needed to go through Amazon. I still have no idea what the resistance for this part should be. Is it going to burn up in a year? I have no idea.

doesnt match picture
The picture matches perfectly to the coil that came off of my mower, but thats not what i received. Not only was it different, but the mounting holes were different too. I still made it work, but its not the part i ordered.

Totally different part received
As a lot of other reviewer stated I got a completely different part from the one that was pictured. The one I received did not match the bolt holes and it did have the rubber boot cover but it was on a right angle instead of a straight plug which is what I need for my mower. Just out of curiosity through one bolt into it and hooked it up and got absolutely zero spark from my mower. This is definitely not the right part.

Got the Grass Cut!
Had my mower for 25 years. One day, no spark. This fixed my problem. Been working 2 seasons now. The triggering circuit is self contained. The only other wiring needed is the kill switch wire, which is normal very reliable.
