I love this storage rack! It holds way more than I expected. Installation wasn't too bad. Finding the studs behind the wall was the most time consuming aspect. I wasn't able to attach every screw to a stud, but I got at least 2 out of 4 screws per panel (there are 5 panels in the set) into a stud. Everything about this rack is high quality, and I feel confident that it will hold all of my stuff without any chance that it will dislodge from the garage wall. You get maximum flexibility with this rack as you can mount the 5 panels together or separately, and you can mix and match the different hooks and attachments as you please. I'm so glad that I didn't go for a cheaper model. This one is going to last for as long as I need it. Highly recommended.

I’m reviewing this after putting up the brackets but before organizing the tools, etc. Simple to put on the wall. Once I had decided where and how I would arrange the five brackets and gathered the tools needed, it took me a cool 20 minutes. I’ll tell you what you need to do this easily and safely: 1) A power drill 2) A 5/16” bit proper for drilling into the material your wall is made of (I went into wood; a wood bit can be recognized by the sharp point on the tip). I used a bit ). 3) An impact driver, if you have one. Otherwise your drill will do. 4) A #2 Phillips bit (PH2) for screwing in the screws. 5) A rubber mallet, though a regular hammer will do. Just take care not to smash the anchors or decorative surfaces too hard! 6) A level. A magnetic one is handy. 7) A pencil with a sharp point. 8) Masking or duct tape to tape off the drill bit at the precise length of the anchors. Not necessary, but handy: needle-nose pliers to pull out an anchor that didn’t go in far enough. The nice thing about these brackets is that you can put all the segments together or not. I didn’t, because of the wall space I wanted to use in my garage. Each uses only 4 anchors and screws. Make sure that the groove is on top when you attach the bracket to the wall.

I organized my garage using these & they work great and are really sturdy and easy to adjust the location of the hangers. One caveat: the nylon sheet rock inserts are pretty useless. You need screw directly into studs if you want to hang any weight at all.

This is great to organize various items in the garage. Easy to install and seems sturdy. we have bikes, ladders, garden equipment hanging and all seems to hold well. The only thing I wish was for another track so you can spread out the hooks. It’s a little cramped but making it work.

Step 1. Mount the backer plate (s). The tool backer plate mounts effectively to any garage wall surface with screws or you can mount it a 1x4 fur strip to allow spacing flexibility. Step 2. Hang the individual tool holder and garage tool. That's it, you're done.
